It depends. Sometimes when people are sarcastic they can be really rude! Sometimes it is funny!

It depends on the content,but most of the time sarcasm is inappropriate.

I think it depends on who you're using your sarcasm on. In a customer service situation I wouldn't use it, but if I'm with my friends and make a sarcastic remark I assume they know that I'm just messing with them.

Depends on the situation and the circumstances. But for the most part people think it is witty and quick minded.
