ok i moved into a private house last week. however, some stuff i noticed about the house. the door knob is broken on the kids room. and the door in me and my girlfriends bedroom is coming off the hinges. 2 of the cabinets in the kitchen are coming off when u open them. i would like him to fix this. i cant find the copy of the lease. i think its in one of the bags due to packing. i thought it was in the car. but i dont see it. should i fix this myself since these are minor repairs even though the lease says that landlord is responsible for all repairs. we live in pa. he lives in new york

I have an 80 gb hard drive but when i go to my computer my local disk c's total is 50 gb. my local disk d's total is only 17gb. where is the other 13 gb. I have a dell E1505

I'd rather live in a nice, safe neighborhood or condominium complex very close to the arts and recreational heart of a city (so, urban area.)

Or, just the suburbs, but no more than 20 minutes from downtown.

I've lived in small towns and HATE them. The "sticks" = boredom. Fishing, hunting, and sitting around the pond drinking beer are great ways to relax, but only on special occasions.

Ok, so my parents show on and off that they like him. That could put stress on someone, am i right? well my parents put so much stress on my boyfriend that now, he just doesn't care. he's not gonna try and impress them anymore. he doesn't even come down from his car to greet them when he comes to pick me up. when ever my parents have a birthday coming up, he doesn't even think to buy a gift, but is forced to by his wonderfully nice mother. his mom shows so much respect to my mom but my side of the family thinks they're so high above them!
What I'm worried about is that when it comes to him asking for my parents' blessing for us to be married, I'm afraid that my parents will say no because of how he's been acting lately. my parents are not gonna admit that they've been acting this way, but its up to them if I can get married or not.
Should I be worried?

My Mac system recently updated itself and now when I connect my digital camera, it won't show up on the desktop. It worked fine yesterday, and the only change was the new software that came from Apple, which the computer initiated itself.

Iphoto does open when I plug the camera in, and it does recognize the camera, but if I hit download, Iphoto just freezes.

Usually to copy photos to the computer, I would plug the camera in, double click on the camera icon that pops up, and just drag the photos to the folder where I wanted them, but now the icon doesn't appear.

PCs have that system restore function, but I don't know how to do that on a Mac.

Any suggestions?

Yesterday afternoon, a helicopter carrying 4 crashed into the mountain near Kachees Lake, in Washington. My mother is camping by herself, only 15 miles away, at Salmon Le Sac. There is no cell service there. The crash started a forest fire, and consumed 40 acres, as of last night (350 acres now). I was worried about my mom, and called my husband while he was at work. His response was "wow, that's not good." and that was it. No offers of support, no calming statements, and the tone of his voice was monotone. I was on pins and needles until after midnight. I contacted the fire department out there, and gave them her site information, and they went looking for her. All is fine, but I was still in a state of panick for half a dozen hours.
I got the impression from my husband, that he didn't see it as a big deal. How would you have reacted to the news, and what would you have done to calm me and reassure me that she was ok?

For around 2 months now, I have experienced left side chest pain and sometimes left arm pain (either in my shoulder or my forearm). Since one month ago, I also have had some pain in my upper back (bellow and between my shoulder blades).The pain in my chest is kinda sharp and I can localize it. Also, it doesn't get worse when i breathr. I also feel kind of dizzy or weakened sometimes. Still I have had 2 EKG-s (both normal), I went to a cardiologist (he checked me out and said my heart isn't the problem) and I have had my blood checked (normal as well). My heart rate at rest is around 56 bpm (sometimes lower, sometimes higher) but goes up normally after physical activities. I am 23 of age, I DON"T SMOKE and I am a fairly active person. My doc also said it could be something to do with my spine (due to wrong postures) but I don't know what I should do next. Any ideas?

The last time I saw Hewitt as the player he used to be was when he was in the Finals in the Australian. Since then he has retreated back to his thin, less muscular physique, lost him intensity, and has had a string of less then common injuries. (falling down the stairs and breaking his ribs for example). He rarely says c'mon anymore and has really lost his fire that made him so great. Does anyone else agree?
