Sure Vick tortured some vicious dogs, but Barry cheated on our national past time and is deeply rooted in the history of baseball, record or not. That's kinda huge, isn't it?

J-Far, wow, I've never heard anyone call PITBULLS "innocent."

YankeeFan, using the argument that "Bonds hasn't been convicted" is an attempt by you to minimize his actions. By the way, Vick hasn't been conviceted either, only indicted at this point in time. Jesus, get real.

I think Bonds hurt more than himself. He hurt all the fans who believed this was a clean game. He contributed to the dishonest image of American sports worldwide. He's added asterisks to the history books so we will have this argument of whether he deserves the record for a long long time.

C'mon, at worst Bonds only KICKS puppies, between thefts of lollipops from babies, tying his girlfriends to railroad tracks, foreclosing mortgages, cheating at cards, hiding out in McCovey Cove after leading pirate* raids against Fisherman's Wharf merchants, burying his treasure beneath the statue of Willie Mays, cackling maniacally, and twirling his mustache.
Poor guy hardly has time to fit in batting practice or blogging.
* A little trick he picked up during his seasons in Pittsburgh.

I hate Bonds much extra. yet despite if a lot of people hate Vick, it is the nice and comfortable tale proper now. that could be a sparkling tale, they have heard approximately Bonds for an prolonged long term and in time Bonds often is the main hated. it is not a landslide via any potential. there are multiple people who hate Bonds extra.

RIDICULOUS COMMENT!...
Barry Bonds did nothing wrong and even if what Bonds did wrong was proven, it would be pale in comparison to what Michael Vick did.
Not even a close comparison...

I would rater use the word "disappointed" than hate. I hate the wars that are going on around the world, I hate cancer that ends the lives of people ahead of their time, and I hate the violence that is ripping apart our cities. Baseball is a game I love and I am disappointed with certain players that involve themselves with actions detrimental to the game. I am more disappointed with Vick than Bonds because there is no indication that Bonds violated any MLB rules.

I don't respect Barry Bonds since he's clearly a cheat but at least he's not accused of killing animals (except the horses used for his 'roids).
If you don't think Bonds is a cheater then you're the kind of person who would see his wife with some other guy though his bedroom window then, just as she starts taking her dress off and the lights go out, say, "Well, I have no proof she's cheating."

Barry Bonds is hated more by the public.
But Micheal Vick did something worse, he killed.
As J-Far said, the olny person Barry Bonds hurt is himself.

I would say they are about equal. With the Vick deal being very recent in the news you would think him. But with Bonds being so close to breaking the record he is up there too.

Are you actually saying what Bonds may have done is worse than what Vick did? You need to get your head examined if you believe that. Michael Vick killed innocent animals, the only person Bonds hurt was himself.
