I'm a junior in high school, and I don't have a clue of where I would like to go to college or what I would like to major in and do after college. Thinking about college makes me apprehensive and paranoid.

I'm almost 23 weeks preg and I worked out before I was preg but now when I work out, I get this weird pain...

you know that stitch-in-the-side feeling during working out? (i always got it if i tried to run or jog)
i have been getting it almost every time i walk now, whether it's on the treadmill or concrete
but only while intentionally working out, not just walking the market or to get a rickshaw
It's on my right side. it's not a pain, but a cramp, like i ate right before working out or something, but i didn't
sometimes if i slow down it goes away, but sometimes if i push through about 10 min later it goes away completely.

i just wonder how safe it is or not...it would seem a cramp would signal my body needs a break, but i wonder why it's doing it all of a sudden and why it goes away.... has anyone had this before or knows what this is??

I find divorce laws to be sexist and change. There are many women who benefit by marrying a rich man and living off half his money and child support after a divorce occurs. I think that if our society wants to encourage equality for men and women then this practice should change.

My inlaws are very snobish with me and my parents but somehow when it comes to my toddler they want lots of interaction with her. It's difficult for me because I just keep thinking of those times and how they have treated me. It's just such an uncomfortable time for me.
Whenever my toddler says their names I just feel like crying.
I never imagined life to be like this before marriage. I never believed in those cliched horrible inlaw stories when I was younger.

Healthcare for children or cheaper cigarettes?

I ask this because Bush is going to veto a bill that will give healthcare to children by taxing cigarettes.

Im an aspiring modeling student. I was accepted in my first interview with the JC center in Tulsa, OK. But I have been hearing disturbing rumours that they dont actually find you jobs and they charge way too much. Does any one know if this is true and if it is, can someone tell me the agency with cheapest training (if any) and most effective in bookings.
thanks.

Through violence you may murder a murderer, but you can't murder murder. Through violence you may murder a liar, but you can't establish truth. Through violence you may murder a hater, but you can't murder hate. Darkness cannot put out darkness. Only light can do that.... Difficult and painful as it is, we must walk on in the days ahead with an audacious faith in the future. When our days become dreary with low-hovering clouds of despair, and when our nights become darker than a thousand midnights, let us remember that there is a creative force in this universe, working to pull down the gigantic mountains of evil, a power that is able to make a way out of no way and transform dark yesterdays into bright tomorrows. Let us realize the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.

How would you like to be an egg? You only get laid once. You only get eaten once. It takes 4 minutes to get hard. Only 2 minutes to get soft. You share your box with 11 other guys. But worst of all. The only chick that ever sat on your face was your mother. So cheer up... Your life ain't that bad!

I was veg for two years a long time ago, but I've recently been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome as a result of my anxiety disorder and the antidepressants I'm on. Stopping those is not an option, nor will it help my stomach much.

Lactose and I are not friends. I can handle probiotic yoghurts and small amounts of cheese, as well as milk in small amounts IF my stomach has not been acting up and if I take several Lactaid pills.

Soy and I are not friends. At all. I don't know for sure, but I believe I am allergic to it. I get incredible gas and cramps from even the smallest amount of soy milk or tofu.

Other legumes are mostly ok, as are most beans. I still have to watch it, though.

I am interested in cutting back on the amount of meat I eat. Unfortunately because of my condition it seems I have very few options.

Help me please? Is this feasible? Is there a healthy way to do this?

So, today I open my email, and Ive got a nice message from an unnamed beleiver... I had responded yesterday to a posting and told the person that they needed to read a dictionary, not the Bible, due to their horrible lack of spelling and grammar skills. Today, I received the following message from another responder (verbatim, grammar and all):

"you dont need to tell other peps they dont need to read the bible they need the holy word and so do you they shall no lie"

So, am I to understand that I am NOT to tell others that they dont need to read the Bible, but its okay for a believer to tell others that they NEED TO read the Bible? Anyone else note the irony in that?!?!

And, is this what a hypocrite is???

Is it down to stagnancy of belief or simple lack of imagination?

Ask any athiest how they would react if they found there was a god, and they can answer quite honestly. When facing christians with an opposite question however they almost always get defensive and simply claim it is not so.

Is it that they have shut down any ability to comprehend an existence outside their fantasy? Is the state of their beliefs so fragile that if they even think for an instant of any other way that the whole thing will crumble? Or is it just that the bible discourages them from questioning anything?
