It *IS* real. What it is not is 'fact'.
Mytholgoy - any mythology - is real, but not a set of facts to be proven true or disproven as false. It is a completely seperate catagory from the waking world of logic and facts.

I wrote this for a similar question a while back...
I love Greek mythology. I believe those gods were just made up by people that couldnt find explinations for the events happening around them (such as: sunrise,sunset,the moon,lightening,waves,etc....)
Making up these "gods" made life easier for them. They lived with less fear because they felt they had an explination for everything.
Remember, they didnt have the technology we do today to tell us what earthquakes are or eclipses are and so on...
Its so famous because its sooo entertaining!

no,that is why it is caled "myhtology"!it is famous 'cause greek myhtology is perfect and roman mythology which is based on greek is good too.

All religions are mythic to a certain extent. It helps sell the product. Paul was the writer of the Christian Mythics.

I have said this before and I will say it again all myths and legend were base on some actual fact that did happen... And what ever that incident was has been lost in time.. But they all bare some semblance of truth..............................................
