What is your favorite wallpaper you have had on your cell phone?

I have a beautiful 1992 lincoln continental with 160k miles(body and leather interior is mint condition) everything works. Except the engine knocks and the electrical system is draining the battery. I cant sell it! have it for sale at $800. I put "best offer" and my phone number on windshield. Its been sitting at a Firestone for 3 months now. I've received about 100 phone calls asking about my car. All I get are tire kickers and flakes. When I am honest and tell them the engine knocks people run! I bought the car when the engine knocked and it didnt scare me. I had no problems with it. I drove it for a year with no problems. I finally bought another car so I dont need it anymore.

So how do I sell my car fast? Should I write "engine knocks" on the window? However, I may not get any calls. Or should I lower price? How would you guys advertise my car and for what price? I need to get this thing sold. Im moving out of state next month. Your honest opinion would be grateful.

My brother has a friend of his who is a big time democrat. He decided not to go to college and works fishing in Alaska for 6 months out of the year. He makes great money! My brother said he cleared like 80 grand on his last trip. They usually work 6 days a week 12 hours on.

My question is this; When he comes home he heads right for the unemployment office and collects unemployment for 6 months until it's time to go back to Alaska. He doesn't even entertain the thought of looking for a job.

Is this what welfare is for? Do you feel comfortable paying this guys tab for 6 months while he parties his *** off?

My room faces East and the sun is blinding in the morning and the room looks bad when I tried curtains. I have white vinyl blinds up and the light is soo bright , would metal/aluminum blinds in white make a difference? I dont want to call a blind company as they will not give info without getting you name # etc then bugging me constantly to use their service. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I was promised over and over again by a leasing agent at an apartment complex that I'd be able to move in on a certain date, on the 3rd floor. I followed up and confirmed with her about twice a day for a week, at the same time paid the application fee and hold fee. Two days before I was supposed to move in, she told me that she had no idea when the apartment was available. They refundede me the hold fee back. The gemeral manager would not give me back the application fee because it was stated as non-refundable on the application. However, I never would've applied if I wasn't lied to in the first place. There was no sympathy and she was extremely rude. Do I have any right to get the application fee back?

I am married to a Lcpl in the marine corps and we are currently living off base (he is at camp lejeune.) I think we want to move on base but I need to know how long it takes after you put ur name on the list. He deploys very soon. Also, is it really that bad? Ive heard stories. thanks!

I have been asked out by this guy who is 36 a few times, I have reservations since I am 46. I have not told him my age, and frankly I look great, so it is not a question of me not having self esteem. I just wonder if 10 years is a lot of an age gap and possibly when I do tell him does it matter.

Want advice from people who have done this. I am looking into starting to flip houses. My husband is a handyman. He works in maintenance and will be taking his HVAC test shortly. So most of the work he can handle. Plus, we have a whole slew of family members that are very well inclined to do the work. Also, we will have at least $100,000 on hand to put into this. Do you think that this is a good idea? What kinds of highs and lows have you experienced in this business? Just any advice would be appreciated...

Hello answers community. My outdated tv has recently broke and I've had to face the fact that I need to upgrade to an HDTV. Unfortunately, me and my family aren't knowledgable on this area of electronics.
I have been told that 1080p will be broadcast eventually, but I don't understand why a better tv can pick up lower signals of HD. Is it just a matter of compatibility? Or can it really work and people did not want to tell me?

I have several questions about V1. I know what it is but I dont understand this-

Picture a fully laden jet. Taking off from a 7,000ft runway. It uses 5,000ft to get to 5 knots below V1. The the pilot decides to abort. How can he stop in 2,000ft of runway? And V1 doesnt vary much from runway to runway. maybe 5 knots tops. What if the runway was 6000ft??

My best friend says he's a girl, but I say he's a guy just 'cause of his looks and he's got a lady friend named Birdo. Although she's got a deep voice, that doesn't make her a guy. She's pink with a bow...Not many guys wear that.
I've also heard that Yoshi can lay eggs, but that doesn't mean he's a girl. In some species, the guy and the girl can lay eggs.
