3:00p.m. is the exact time of Christ's death on the cross. Being born at that time is not bad luck. Dying at that time is an honor.
3:00a.m. is considered by some people to be an unlucky time because it is believed by some to be the time that Jesus was betrayed. Some say that its actually the time that Peter denied Jesus 3 times (there's that 3 again, lol).
You can go through the entire Bible, or just go through history if you're not religious, and you'll find hundreds of incidents where the number 3 was a factor. Most people don't pay attention to it, but there are those who spend chunks of their lives trying to figure out the symbolisms and meanings. *yawn* . Thats great and everything. I'll read the research when its complete. In the meantime...

I think everything in life is done for a purpose. The time of your birth has nothing to do with luck. I am sure your mom was glad of your arrival and she was happy that it was over.
