Christians like to say "If you were wrong you go to hell, but if I were wrong then what did I loose?"
Do you Christians use this statement to make you feel less vulnerable and insecure?
Are you trying to confirm yourself that you are not being brainwashed?
If you are so sure about your beliefs then why even come up with that statement. It means that you Christians have doubts in your heart, therefore you need some sort of assurement that you did not believe your religion in cost of something.
"IF I were WRONG". You see that you say 'IF", which means that you are open to possiblities of you being "WRONG".
I would never say, "IF I happened to be gay". Because I am 100% sure I am not, so if you Christians say the word "IF" you are not a 100% sure of your beliefs. If you are not even sure of yourself then why do try to rant about how great God is? Christians clear your doubts before speaking about your beliefs please. Your statement just disclaimed you.
