I've often heard the theory that everything imaginable, no matter how make-believe, physically exists somewhere in the known universe. Does anyone know the philosopher who first brought up this theory? I have a feeling that it may have been concieved by a character from a novel. If this is the case, does anyone know which novel and which character?

i burned my finger last night and it didn't blister the skin just shrivled and only a little part of it has a blister , i've been burned before but i've never felt anything like this i can deal with the pain but i'm just worried about any infection is it possible

I struggle with this right.
I am working in a mental health team and drugs companies often lay on lunches and dinners with guest speakers to talk about various issues in mental health work. They are not promoting their products per se but of course they do pay for food and booze! All this when there are people worlwide who cannot afford essential medicines while these same companies rake in massive profits.
I feel kinda bad for eating the food - what do you think?

(the most far thing) to you is that( thing) behind you, that to get it you must walk to infinity to reach it, and the man search for any thing behind him, he is unhappy, so hwo search forward he will be happy at all.

so,

if u reach {the place} behind you, you will be in very difficult position to get your first place that {the first place} will be behind you.

so,
we must to look forward, and donot look behind us.

It is said that if all humans speak in one language,they can understand each other better(with clear meaning).If members
of UN could make a decision on such a language and recommend the same as global language for Human welfare,

I've always been fond of sweet stuff for such a long time.
Now i want to cut right down on all the fatty things in my diet......but, this gonna be really hard as i have a really sweet tooth. Any advice on what i can do to stop me feeling the need to eat all this fatty food?

my mom is 5' 5"

but when my brother was my age he was as tall as my dad now hes a little taller (hes 16)

The above line was spouted by an alleged Christian. Where in the Bible is the idea of marriage being ONE WIFE per man?

It seems to me the Bible seethes with polygyny. (Plural marriage in which there is one male and multiple females.)

Since this "divine order of marriage" is not in the Bible, what is the justification for some Christians to claim it is a religious belief of theirs?

Or is this another case where what's in the Bible is optional for Christianity....just trying to keep those straight.
