Im a fifteen year old that just got done with freshman year in high school. I am saving money so that I can go to college and eventually be a therapist (the kind that helps people with problems). What should I do to get ready? Should I be involved in anything special....like a club??? Please break down the process of becoming a therapist! Thanks :)

A few weeks ago i bought some black leathery K-Swiss shoes, and a few days ago they started smelling like a cat peed in them. I dont have a cat so im not sure why it smells like that. ive tried all kinds of things to get the smell out. ive constantly sprayed them with febreeze and that just made it smell like flowers AND cat piss. ive put pet oder remover powder in them and that didnt help. ive filled up some panty hose with kitty litter and stuffed that in them and it isnt really helping. I really need to know how to get the smell out and i dont want to buy new shoes.

I know this question may sound stupid but I have to ask it!

My kitchen fitter told me that I wouldn't be able to work from home while he was fitting my kitchen because (and here I'm a little vague) the pitch (or possible something else) of the powertools he was going to use could wipe my PC if I had it on while he was using his tools. He claimed a customer he'd worked for had said this was rubbish and ignored him...and then his PC was wiped.

Is this possible? Or maybe he was talking about an electrical surge or something? Or was he just trying to keep me out of the house so he could get on with his work without me keeping an eye on him?!

When I was 9(4 years ago) my parents got divorced...My dad still lives at my old house and I live with my mom and my sis in a small apartment. I love Ravenna...My home town...and miss my old life style and friends..My dad invited me to live with him but I dont no wat to do I mean I dont want to leave my friends here. My pets live with my dad and I miss them alot to. I still get to see my dad every other weekend. But when Im with my dad I miss my mom and when Im with my mom I mis my dad...Please help.. I would do anything to go back to before the divorce....

The United States is a nation of laws. We believe in our Constitutional rights above all else. If American Citizens were being held indefinitely with benefit of trial we would be outraged. Yet we condone this behavior for detainees at Guantanamo Bay. Now I am not advocating that these people should be released outright, or given the rights of American citizens, but how can we condone indefinite detention in absence of formal charges and trial. How is this different from say the Soviet Union jailing political dissidents in its Gulags? A practice most of us found appalling by the way. Consider the quote below from Commander Jeffrey Gordon, a Defense Department spokesman on the matter and then give me your thoughts.

"The government does not have enough evidence to try the bulk of detainees in a federal court system, yet maintained that releasing them would be foolhardy."

Clearly, some secrecy going on here. Jesus taught his disciples differently from the masses, and Paul as well insinuates secrecy. What of these secret teachings? Those of inner transformation, spiritual alchemy, the Secret Wisdom of the Ages. As Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is within you".

Why do contemporary Christians have so much trouble with this? Why do they only want the milk of Christianity and not meat?

So its obvious that Beyonce weight goes up and down all the time and shes been quoted saying that when shes on a diet she only eats four tomatos and orange juice per day (which isnt healthy) and at times i've thought that she need to loose weight but dont you think shes gone too far. dont you think its weird when you lye down and look at the sky. You stare. All you see is sky or stars (if its night). Where does it end. It HAS to end somewhere... eventually it has too. It cant keep going, what do you think is at the end? But then whats behind that? ITS SO MIND BOGGLING!!! Does anyone else feel disorientated when you think about this kinda stuff?

I found out he called her three times when I was out of town and talked to her for an hour each time. We were fighting because I wasn't interested in sex. I found out and he said he talked to her because he was complaining about me. I stormed out and he appologized and said they got along well. He said he would stop talking to her. When there was a busy signal at his work, I would call her store to see if there was a busy signal and keep calling till her line was no longer busy and call him....he got off at the same instant. One time I called him on it and he said he was talking to someone else but then admitted he was talking to her. Two months later he admitted she had feelings for him and he told her he couldn't talk to her as much. I know he still sometime talks to her. He lied to me after my son was born because he didn't want me to visit him at store they were remodeling because she was there. He said it would be awkward for me. what do you think?

The show would always open with him sitting on this stool with a drink in his hand doing a monologue. The rest of the half hour show featured comedy skits very similar to the Benny Hill skits. I seem to remember that a lot of the skits featured priests and nuns. Does anyone know who this comedian was?
