It doesnt seem like it. Only if he has a "degree" and $ does seem like they repsect a man who can think. There seems to be no appreciation of potential at all. Only in what he has now. Some of the most intelligent men who ever lived did not have a formal degree but in this era of Neo-classim, human beings validity as a human being is defined by the degree. Though in the past, the degree was seen as a sign of conformity and the fact that one does not have the capacity to think outside of the box or someone else's set standards. This is no longer the case. And women have taken hold of that. Men who are truly unique have no place and as always are forced to be alone. Anyone can memorize a book, few can construct new processes to doing things. Why is it that women don't care about this in men? So long as a $ bill is a the end then its valid and he is worthwhile it seems.

my mother and i just had a big fight and i feel horrible about it. let's just say that i was arrogant, over-critical and very judgemental. my mother was very hurt, and i woke up this morning to see she had left the house for some alone-time(she told my brother this), saying she'd be back in the evening. she has never ever done this before.

i feel like a horrible daughter..

how can i show her i am truly sorry and make things better?

One day I saw a REALLY old lady (had to be over 100) back over a full shopping cart and completly run over it. It tore her plastic rear bumper off of her van and she drove away like nothing happened.

This is a sincere question, I am in my early thirties and have realised recently that I am going to die, in my twenties I think I didnt really acknowledge the fact but now the thought that I am definiately going to die and I dont know when or how totally spins me out. I spend far too much time thinking about it and obsessing and frankly im terrified. Does anyone else get spun out by this or do most people accept the inevitability?

Im on probation for 2 years, i have 3 theft 2nd degree charges on my record, and i have a suspended jail sentance of 2 years. i was arested for a 4th theft charge, and then baild out on a 5oo dollar bond. i go to court on the 7th of august, and im thinking about leaving town. what would happen. When a person with silicon breast implants dies, and they are buried, do their fake boobs just stay in the ground. And also, If a person is cremated, do they have to remove them do to air pollution concerns.

If a person does have fake boobs, shouldn't they be removed at the funeral home and be disposed of as industrial waste?

My bf & I are having problems w/ our sex life. He's only 25 & doesn't like having sex as much as i do(I'm 20) I have tried everything from wearing sexy little costumes to buying sex books but still complains that he can't keep up so now we go almost a month w/o it. I hate it! I've asked him if it has anything to do w/ me but he assures me I am perfect & he just doesn't feel like it sometimes. Last friday, he told me I should find sum1 to have sex w/ & that he will b perfectly ok w/ it as long I let him know. I can't stand the thought of being with another man then coming home and start to hug and kiss him as if nothing happened. It would feel a little too awkward. What should I do? Go through with his idea or try to make our sex life better? I love him more than anything but I don't want to end up like those couples that don't ever have sex.
