I always take ibuprofen. I usually take three or four 200mg tablets. 800mg is prescription strength.
By the way, ibuprofen and Motrin are the same thing. Ibuprofen is the generic name.
Tylenol (acetaminophen) is used more for fever, not pain, like ibuprofen is used for. Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and is used to treat muscle aches, back aches, menstrual cramps, etc.

Motrin IB has Ibuprofen in it, just so you know. Ibuprofen is best for menstrual cramps because it is a mild muscle relaxant, and menstrual cramps are muscle cramps/contractions. However, any of them will help with the pain.

Alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol
Works for me!! Also drink plent of water a day or two before you start. It will keep you from bloating so bad. I you don't have enough fluids in your body it will retain its own!
Do not take more than 1600mg of ibuprofen a day! You can cause serious kidney problems! If you take the 800mg, only do it two times in a 24 hour period.

Ibuprofen. I have really bad cramps and the doctor actually prescribed it to me. You can safely take up to 800 mg a few times a day. You should eat when you take it. If you don't it can damage your stomach.

Pamperin because it not only helps with the cramps, bloating but the irritability. It works better than all the ones you mentioned. And it works on the most painful cramps.
