To vote4me_rgpj, I believe that saying was from Thomas Jefferson. Our founding fathers already knew what would happen if parties were in government, and what the citizens should do in times of these.
People should really google up some founding father quotes to see what I'm talking about.
But to end tyranny, someone already said to buy guns (check) and educate yourself (check). Now people should really get a good education about what's going on (I don't mean follow our controlled mainstream media and bring back history books from high school). There's plenty of information to go around. It's all about who will and who won't to realize that those who don't read history are doomed to repeat it.

Think and find out more about who you vote for president. Think and find out more about all the other countries in the world that you are messing with.
Respect each other,
Respect and understand what your country and your government is supposed to stand for.
Respect the rights of people who do - and who do not - live in the USA.
Let go of having to be the biggest and best (and pretending to be even when you are not).
(p.s. what does 'buying guns' have to do with ending tyranny?)
Stop being obsessed with guns and shooting everybody!

Tyranny is defined as: A government in which a single ruler is vested with absolute power.
We do not have such a government. However, there have been those in the executive office that have tried to undermine the system of checks and balances that were established for our particular form of republic.
If you do not care for our system of government you are always free to change it by voting or running for office, or even to leave it. In fact, if you are not currently exercising the first two options, let me recommend the third.

Get rid of Ignorance.
A great founding father said it best.
"Ignorance is the beginning form of Tyranny."

I dont know, but lets hope nothing happens that will give the monkey in a suit a reason to declare marshall law and make us become a police state. If that happens, we lose our rights and he would have more free reign than he already does. Its all rather discouraging.

Elect people that actually have our best interests in mind.
However, history has shown that the American people are very bad at doing that.

Never. The people have spoken. They would rather be sheep than wolves. Time to give up this fight.

never vote republican again.
parties come and go - after the blind support of the last congress of the war in iraq and their stalling tactics and continued repetition of rovian talking points rather than common sense means that they have failed.
i don't think the dems are the real answer - we need a real viable 3rd party to come along.
the idea that one party or the other becomes extinct isn't as crazy as it sounds - there are no tories or whigs left in america.
people stopped voting for them and other parties arose.
time to r.i.p. the republicans and get on with the business of the people and stop the religio inspired nonsense...

You should give Mr. Bush a KITA (kick in the ass). In Mexico, he would be called "burrico". Burrikita.
