actually California does not have a state fruit.....they are producers of almost all of U.S. supplies of:
wine grapes
table grapes
pecans
strawberries
tangerines
walnuts
almonds
figs
raisin grapes
olives
clingstone peaches
persimmons
dried plums
pomegranates..
and from what I read it is pretty much in that order...
