A girlfriend of mine, who has oral herpes, may be infecting unsuspecting others. I know of her, her herpes, and the irresponsibility with which she has contact with males, who don't know her personal medical history.

I mean, can't herpes cause damage?

I mean, why are gals always blamed for this? Aren't men the ones who always lead a girl on only to break her heart? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, right?

So, what about the guys, and what name could we call them? I don't know, "Vile Tempters" maybe? I just always called them b@stards.

you know, usually, RAM is specified by xxxMHz, xxxMB, ECC or nonECC.

bits move from the FSB, through the RAM to the CPU, right?
now, what does the frequency of the RAM(the xxxMHz that they scream about in the ads) do during the transfer.
answer specifically for DDR2 SDRAMs.
case study:
if a PC is CPU 1.6GHz Duo Centrino tech, FSB 800MHz, RAM 1.0GB, 667MHz DDR2.
the ram is the slowest, right? now, what does this 667MHz do in relation to the transfer of bits btw the CPU and the motherboard. remember it is DDR2, so it works 2x on each FSB cycle
please explain simply...
thanks.

I am a teacher assistant at a preschool center and I will be going to college to become a preschool teacher. Shouldn't 3-5 year old learn in preschool? The lead teacher where I work says that playing is the most important thing for kids this age. I understand that they need to play, but we don't teach the kids anything! We have an hour to do centers (snack, art, pretend play, fine motor)... but like for fine motor, they play in the sandbox or play with legos. And it is only 15 minutes for each center... They play for almost the whole day! Most of them can count and they know the alphabet almost... shouldn't we be preparing them for kindergarten more? What kinds of things should be learned at preschool? I want to suggest things to the director...

I have dug a hole around them but they won't pull out. The soil a few feet down is very sticky. I plan to put the fence back a few feet so don't want to damage them. I was thinking of a pick to leverage them out. Any ideas?

This morning a user asked, "What is your solution to the demise of the Republican party?" One answer said the republicans needing to regroup.

The Democrats took power in both the House and the Senate at the turn of the year. This was a HUGE issue for the democrats and quite a HUGE victory!

For weeks prior to being sworn, during swearing in and ever since, most the people elected vowed to correct everything the previous republican administration had ruined.

Are people coming up with questions like this (((("in the know")))) about the approval rating in the Democratic (led) House sliding to an all time low of 14%?????

Republicans regrouping? They're regrouping started to take place 7 months ago when the libs were sworn in. The result of some of their regrouping has the libs pecking at each other, pecking at others and they've lost a grip on reality by not doing ANYTHING constructive ever since.

I wish to hell I could get paid for doing nothing! When does their raise kick in? lol

I'm helping my grandmother try to find a sweater pattern. She can't remember exactly what it is called, but it's something along the line of "Classic Sweater of the 40's." It's a turtlenecks sweater, and she said the Red Cross often made them for soldiers.

I have a cat that has very fine hair. It grows patches that form solid masses on its back. I have to take a shears and clip the solid masses off. The matted hair is almost like a sponge made of hair wheh clipped off. They are about 2 inches in lengthe and 1 1/2 inches in diameter. How can I prevent this from happening?

We used a disposable barbecue and forgot to extinguish it in the proper time. It seems to have scorched the stone below it. It is a gray stone and now there is a brown spot/circle. Part of it is darker than other parts. We are housesitting so we are particularly concerned. Anyway to remove it? Or at least diminish it?

This is to piggy back the question asked ONLY of atheists on the DEFINITION of harm.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlC7f85ozUXNDIgRSO7cMHvsy6IX?qid=20070728093057AAGXB2f&show=7#profile-info-9IcpKxgiaa

I think most reasonable people agree on the definition of harm, but where we differ is when is it JUSTIFIED to harm others.

The asker of the question, then added additional details with a catologue of harms done by "atheists".

Do you think theists are justified in harming non-theists but not vice versa ?

Or do you think non-theists are justified in harming theists but not vice-versa ?

Or do you think neither group has the right to harm each other simply on the basis of their thoughts ? (this is what I think)

A little old lady sits at the cafe counter and orders a hamburger. The huge guy behind the counter houts, "One burger."

"Whereupon the chef grabs a huge chunk of minced meat, stuffs it in his bare armpit, pumps his arm a few times to squeeze it flat, and then throws it on the grill.

"That's the most disgusting thing i've ever seen, i've changed my mind," the old lady says.

"Yeah," says the counterman, "You should be here in the morning when he makes the doughnuts!"
