A girlfriend of mine, who has oral herpes, may be infecting unsuspecting others. I know of her, her herpes, and the irresponsibility with which she has contact with males, who don't know her personal medical history.

I mean, can't herpes cause damage?

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?

But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

if you wanted to publish the names of everyone who has oral herpes, you would need to publish the names of 90% of the population. Do you realize that 9 out of 10 people will get it? Big deal if she has it. There is no legal requirement to share her oral herpes status, because it is such a wide spread virus. Everyone should assume that everyone else has it, because chances are they do.

If you publish her name you will be putting yourself in legal jeopardy.

I am assuming that you have gone in and requested a type specific blood test to confirm your own status? If not, you really have no right to be pointing fingers at anyone else.

You could be sued for defammation and libel by publising her name, and it could cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars. You should have a heart to heart talk with her, and make sure she understands not to engage in risky behaviour during any outbreaks.

No! do not publish her name online. You can be sued.

Call the medical health office in your area and report her.

They will contact her without identifying you.

Let them handle it.

No. Don't hurt her like that. Talk to someone who can help her, but most important just talk to her. Don't be a hater.
