Okay, question: Why do you believe there is no "higher power"? How could the earth, let me change that, the Universe could be created out of nothingness. I myself being Christian also believes that there are holes in every religion , but let me refer to the big bang theory ... How could those several particles have created the Universe if nothing was to create them ...? I do believe that the theory of evolution is probable, because of coarse life will evolve when exposed to new environments. But science is not my religion, so please explain why you are not at least agnostic when you can't prove that there is not a god?

A friend of mine is a physics professor, and he challenged me to research the theory of relativity. I have never had any physics, but I have a pretty good head for math, I just have no background in physics at all. So can someone talk in general terms about this theory? Why is it important, how does it work, just some basic background so I have a foundation to go on. I want to understand enough to ask intelligent questions, and he can explain the more complicated aspects.

And if you have suggestions for websites that would be helpful I would appreciate it.

I have seen some on here that are very mean and cruel to Christains, and others who are great, have a lot of respect, but those of you who have a deep seated hatred, why do you have to be so cruel? you cant say because we are annoying, that wont cut it. most people who have such hatred of something, have much deeper problems than just being annoyed. so why take it out on us. we didnt cause it, we dont even know what your problem is. Maybe you should look at yourself and fix the problem before you give yourself a heart attack by blowing a valve or something.

If so, do you feel you need to take shower after riding Bart? Everytime I take Bart I smell B.O. They are starting to rip out the carpet and replace with vinly flooring. They should consider replacing the fabric seats with plastic seats. You figure with the high costs in fares you'd think they would be able to afford these changes.

My mother is just beginning the process of divorcing my step-father of 7 years... She discovered his online cheating for the 3rd time and is fed up of giving him chances to redeem himself... Well everything is going to have to change for all of us (5 kids, one is his)... How do I help her through this??.. other than helping with bills, stuff around the house and with the rest of the kids...

As a boy, I loved to fish and I had a hard time finding bait! I think global worming would be great for fisherman, the fishing industry and the weekend angler as well.
Global worming makes fishing easier. It saves money and it eliminates the stop by the bait store. I say GO global worming, YOU ROCK!
