Im 18 years old, and have had a Capital One card for about 6 months now...$300 limit. I've made all payments on time, and use it regularly for random purchases here and there. So i'm comfortable with my spending habits, and feel responsible enough to dip my toes a little deeper into the credit lake of death.

I've had my eye on a few Flat Panels and DLP's...and i've had a few friends tell me about their experiences with places like Rent a Center, etc...i obviously cant get a line of credit at a big store like Best Buy or CCity, so what has everyone elses experience been with the Rent to Own chain stores?

Item in my car have been stolen. ($400 so far). I am an audio enthusiast and I drive a '94 Civic. What are the various alternatives to prevent theft? I want to buy a gun, but can't conceal it? I want to buy a chip that could go on a pet and put it in my subwoofer enclosure and amplifier. ; )

i am researching Fieldon Illinois and there use to be a tavern called Chuck's Fieldon Tavern (around 1990-1993) and is now under another name.....i can not find any information on it...if anyone can help that would be great!!!

Ok, I live right around Philadelphia (city of brotherly love, amirite?) and one of my favorite things to do is shoot some b-ball outside of my school with my friends. A few days ago, though, a couple of guys who were up to no good started making trouble in my neighborhood. I thought it would be safe to go out and play with my friends, but while I was out I got in one little fight, and when I told my mom she got all scared and started talking about sending me to live with my uncle and auntie who live near Los Angeles. I tried to talk to her about it but she was too busy drinking a fouty and eating fried chicken to listen. What should I do? I don't want to live in California because I heard from hal turner that there are gay men who will rape you in the street!!!

I know that it is supposed to be a form of insurance so that the seller knows that the buyer is sincere about going through with the deal. But I recently had a home where the buyer simply said that they were terminating the offer because the house didn't pass inspection. Although they never really had an inspection done, they just wanted out of the contract. I could take them to court and possibly make them fulfill the contract, while in the meantime I can't take any other offers on the house. So I had to mutually agree to terminate the contract and give them back the earnest money.

So what's to keep a buyer from simply walking away from a deal, and simply saying, "if you want to sue me, than sue me. In the meantime you can't sell your house." So you might as well give me my money back. If you set the earnest money high enough to discourage this problem, you also discourage a lot of potential buyers.

So how often do buyers actually have to forfeit the earnest money?

I have been married for 2 years to a guy who is really not very nice to me. He is very verbally abusive and I want a divorce. I told him a few weeks ago that I was leaving and he told me that I wasn't.

My problem is that I do care about him and I want him to be happy, but I can't have that happen at the expense of my own happiness. I really don't know what to do. He and his family are very religious and don't believe in divorce. We have tried couples counseling but he won't participate. I feel like I am out of options to make this thing work and I just don't know what to do? I feel like he doesn't listen to me at all. He is contantly trying to parent me. It does not feel anything at all like a partnership. I am pretty sure that I want to leave and just start fresh, but he says "no." What is the right answer? Do I keep trying to make it work and sacrifice my own happiness for the next 40 years?

My main home page is Mozilla FireFox, last night I downloaded a thing so I could watch tv shows and it also downloaded Google Toolbar, now there is a popup that covers almost all the screen that says "thank you for downloading google" I can't get it off, I tried clicking on the red x thing but it just keeps comming back, even when I shut the computer off as soon as I start it up it comes back on, I can't do anything on FireFox with it on, I had to go to my other homepage internet explorer but I don't really like it, all my stuff is on FireFox, I clicked a place on the pop up and it says to get it off I have to click finish but there is no finish button, has anyone had this problem, what did you do to get the thing off?

well i moved back home after breaking up w/ the girl. finally getting back on my feet financially & emotionally. i'm working 2 jobs. it was hard breaking up w/ her but necessary. if u need some background on my situation look at my previous yahoo questions. that's the story. anyway, the ex called wanting a 2nd chance just recently. she said she is sorry & that the kids miss me. i told her that things have changed & i don't want to be involved right now. i want to focus on me & my life for alittle bit w/out the drama of having children around. they are nt my kids by the way. i wasn't trying to be mean about it. i was telling the truth. i miss having time to myself, going to different places and having fun when i go out w/out stress of them being up in my grill & worrying about a getting a babysitter. most of all i think she wants a "daddy" & someone to take care of her & nt a lifelong partner. i'm nt wanting to do the taking of part. am i wrong for this. i was being honest to her.

We elect them, and we let the media tell us what to think. Example 1 Howard Dean is leading all polls, he does that silly scream everyone has heard and he's off the map. His views didn't change, the only thing that happened is he made that stupid notice for 2 seconds and the voters turned on him. It was just about the stupidest reason not to vote for someone.

Example 2 John Kerry makes a joke at President Bush, and the media turns it around to say he made a joke about the troops and America believes it, Anyone that heard him and thought for themselves know he wasn't making fun of the troops but his popularity went way down and I bet people will argue with me here he did.

Example 3 George Allen calls somebody "mucaca" I don't know if this is a racial slur or not (never heard it before he said it) but are we going to ignore years of service based on a one second brain freeze?

The media blows these things out of proportion but we fall for it all the time and we elect these people.

she's sleep at 8:30 and wake up in 4 to 5 hours and will only sleep if I give her milk.I do feed everytime she will go to sleep even during day time

She always cry when I try to put her to sleep and want me to held her.

I feed her every 3 hours and I also give her solid about 4 ounces a day.Please help me
