Because they have their own biased answer.

In reality, the universe could have always been there, or it could have been created, or it could have been some kind of grand quantum event, or it could be something we haven't thought of. We just have no information about what, if anything, was before this universe or even if the word "before" applies.

And even if the universe was created, it was probably created by some natural event. There's nothing to suggest that some sentient superbeing did it.

It's logic out of ignorance - if I do not understand something, it must be God's creation or God's will.
The real logic is - if I do not understand something, then I simply do not understand it. That's it.
And you are absolutely right, the Universe has never been "created," not by God, not by some "event." It always existed. There was no beginning.
And you are absolutely right: God didn't have to be created, but everything else had to be created? Because the Bible says so? OK...

Every religion has different views. I'm a Buddhist and we believe that the universe has always existed, before the big bang, and long after the big bang. We just get reincarnated in different forms. There may have been millions of big bangs as time is beginningless and endless.
I think the thought of having a God is comforting. I felt more comfortable when I believed in one,but find the concept of kamra much more palatable.

I am not christian but I will answer this because I believe the universe is created and that can be proven by the sound intellect:

when I see writing I know it can not have always been there. There must have been a writer to write it in this way - in this handwriting and style.

When I see a building I know for sure it was not always there. I know that there must have been a builder who willed it to be a certain style.

When I see this whole universe I know for sure that its specifications - colours, shapes, animals etc. Must have been willed by a Creator. Because something with specifications does not specify itself - it is specified by the Creator.

God does not have specifications - He is not a body or a shape or in a place. Hence He was not specified and hence was not created. He alone Existed eternally because He is without specifications and His existence is a logical necessity.

It's simple. When you ask this question, do you mean that ancient stars exploded to form planets and one of them was Earh and there something had a combination of materials that made it live and grually it became animals (thinking ceatures) and plants. And then people were formed fom them with all their cleverness. You're such a ...

Then, why won't you believe that a cup of water was filled with witer without anyone filling it? I wonder how can people like you know how to use a computer!

Because just like you, the universe didn't just "boom! up and become into existence". It was created. It's a no-brainer for intelligent ones. The blasphemers will always allow satan to pollute their minds with fictional garbage to take away from God's true right to sovereignty over all creation.

Great question. Thanks for pointing this out. Don't allow weak minds of the blasphemers to eat away at you because you could miss the truth as it flies by you, you know?

The concept of evolution is hard to understand from a Christian creationist perspective but I kinda think creation is an evolution. We create things every day, and from our creations, new things are made. Hope that wasn't too simple-minded of an answer. :)

i didn't ask who created the universe. I knew that God did. time doesn't exist with eternity. i understand the scientific reason why the universe has been created as well as the spiritual aspect of it. i came to my own conclusion to believe in God's word.

I think you have an absolutely great point here, but let me explain why this happens. It's called a double standard - one person believes everything they think to be true, but when confronted with the same situation, only reversed, they completely oppose it because it goes against their own bias and doesn't flatter their faith. If it shines someone in bad light, why use it to represent your case?

Double standards man, they're everywhere.

why don't you understand the eternity of God, atheists ask "well if God created the planet, then who created God?"
