If I sell my rental property this year as opposed to next year will I have to pay capital gains? I am in the 10-15% income tax bracket. Will the capital gains be calculated as income for the year I sell it and possibly send me into the next bracket? Does this have to be a long term sale to qualify?

i married a man with 2 daughters weve been together for 10 years. the oldest just turned 17 and one of our close friends has been dating her behind our backs he's 21. we asked him not to but he still is i hate him but my husband is still friends with him, my stepdaughter swears their just friends but theve been spotted kissing what can i do to stop this she is a 4. point student with a great future hes a loser that still lives with his parents.

Is anyone else outraged by this? What the hell is she doing? I dont understand why she's agreeing to hold a fundraiser for him. Honestly to me is looks like black people standing up for other blacks regardless of their policies and thats not right. Ive always respected Oprah but lately shes become a joke. Can someone explain to me what they think the consequences, either positive or negative, will come from this publicity stunt?

ok so ive been on birth control for over three years now. Ive taken ortho, ortho low, nuva ring, and yaz. Using ortho lo, i could never finish a pack; i always bled during my 2nd week. The nuva ring was uncomfortable for both me and my boyfriend. The ortho and yaz made my boobs jump from a med. C cup to a busting DD! i absolutely hate how big they are. They are annoying and uncomfortable. Ive even considered a breast reduction after i started working out to get them smaller, dropped from 140lbs to 130lbs. and my boobs stayed the same, and just look rediculous on my body. suggest ANYTHING???

From my last question, I learned that a computer registers bits (a "1" or a "0") by checking whether there is a ~3 volt pulse or no pulse during a certain (short) period of time. I now wonder what happens when there is a ~2 or a ~1 volt pulse. I guess that more or less is good enough for the computer, for instance a ~2.999 volt pulse. My question is: if we count down from ~3 volt, at what voltage does the computer not register a "1" anymore?
