Nobody's staring at your zits.
Unless you have severe cystic acne Im sure that most people have never noticed that you have zits.
I used to have the same problem.
I would try Murad if I were you, especially since Pro-Activ didnt work for you. Their active ingredients are different and Murad helps treat more than just acne.
1 out 3 cases of what people think are acne end up being a different skin condition that Pro-Activ's benzoyl peroxide can irrate. Murad is gentler.
Cheer up...

Your zits are on your face. When people look at you, they're looking at your face. So it seems like everyone is looking at your zits, because you can't tell if they're looking at your mouth, nose, ears, or eyes.
For all you know, you could have a huge booger hanging out of your nose, and that's what they're staring at.
But seriously, if you really want to get rid of your acne, ask your doctor about Acutane or its generic form, Amnesteem. It's a pill, and it works. There is no quick fix to severe acne, so it will take a few months to clear up completely. It has side effects, like drying of the face, and very chapped lips, and sensitivity to sunlight, but I swear to you, it saved my face.

Use toothpaste at night! This works soo great. The white paste works the best. Try colgate, take a little dab on your finger and cover up every pimple before going to bed. In the morning, they will be dry. DONT pick at them. Wash your face regularly and use acne free face wash and they should be gone in a day or 2. I always use toothpaste and i dont have any pimples right now! Hope this helps!

To help with your acne concerns, please see a dermatologist. He/she will be able to recommend something that works for you.
As for thinking that people are staring, they probably aren't. I think that everyone notices his/her own flaws more than others do. In fact, I suspect that others are hoping that you won't notice THEIR zits!
As long as you have good personal hygiene and just don't worry about it too much and live your life, those zits won't stand in your way of too many things.

Probably, people don't have anything to say, so they would rather talk about your zits instead. Don't worry it is normal, everyone has acne but some just don't have it at all.

Everyone with pimples feels the same. Buy a product that clears them up. They'll go away eventually. Try focusing on something outside of yourself. Sometimes that works.

some people may be looking at you but when you have zits you are more paranoid. you usually think everyone's staring at them and with me it was like that and no one was paying them any mind. so i think you do get a little paranoid and exaggerate how many people are looking at your zits.
