A labor shortage is absolutely not necessarily a bad thing in a free enterprise system - as a worker, I would like to shop around for a job in a market where the employers are competing for workers - instead of the other way around.

Of course, the employers seem to have taken a shine for $10 an hour workers who receive no benefits, no unemployment, no workers' compensation, no Social Security, no vacations and no recourse for any legitimate grievances.

And a Labor shortage would be just terrible. Some of those disgusting working types might actually receive a living wage at the expense of Executive Compensation.

And after all, what's a paltry thing like Justice compared to friendship. Didn't you guys get the message when Ashcroft covered up the Statues? Besides, if you can't serve poorly those who serve you well, what's the fun of being "The Decider Guy?"

What shortage .
I know plenty of working men and women who are at jobs they did ten years earlier just to keep busy waiting for the economy to turn .
Its never smart to risk your own money and be forced to take a step backwards .

The country is divided unequally .

Instead of working 12 months out of the year I know a lot of folks who are working 8 months still making it but not getting any further ahead .
Just when you think your about to get to the point you can get your money working for you the government tosses in a wrench and screws it up but good .
There are several million people out of work doing other jobs .that pay less but are more secure for the time being .

Well, an unemployment rate below 5% is considered a "labor shortage" in economic terms.

For once, he's right, its just not popular anyway.
