look up the phone book for births deaths and marriages. It's somewhere near the city hall. I lost mine and needed it quickly so had to pay extra to have it processed there and then.

A Birth or Death registered since January 1997 may be obtained from the Local Registration Office where the event was registered, or from the General Registrar's Office, Belfast to apply to the appropriate office complete a Form 40 - Birth Certificate Application or a death Certificate Application Form 41

If a Birth or Death was registered between 1845 - 1996 must be obtained from the General registrar's Office, Belfast, to apply complete a Form 40 - Birth Certificate Application or a Death Certificate Application Form 41.

A Marriage Certificate may be applied for from the Registration Office for the District the Marriage took place, by completing a Marriage Application Form 42.

u have to get it from the district the birth was registered in and costs about £7

just ring registry office for your area of birth. they can look it up on computer now and send you a copy. It cost about £30 over here probably about the same over there .

you have to get in contact with the births,deaths and marriage registry office to where you were born and they will send you a form and you just feel it out with your payment and then they will send you a new birth certificate
