my brother and sister in law have gotten into a financial mess with checks...........to make a long story short some of the checks went to a collection place called checkcare....about how long do they allow to pick up checks?and will they take warrents out for them?if anyone knows please let me know they are getting back on track he just got new job but wont be paid for 2 weeks???thanks

Our grandma's staying with us. She's been "spoiling" us (me and my siblings; her grandkids), taking over our chores, and whatnot. We argue with her that we can do it ourselves, but we never win an arguement when it comes to her! And now, of all the nerve! I posted this same question before, but I feel I didn't get enough answers.

It just seems to me lately that, as a whole, Americans have become the rudest people of any developed nation.

I live overseas (Japan), and I don't know if it's the economic position of their country, their military power, or just their culture; but almost every American I see is really crass and rude.

For example, they expect everyone to speak English regardless of wherever they happen to be at the time. They also seem to excell at ignoring any local etiquette (I understand not knowing foreign customs). But they don't even observe common courtesy, such as waiting for all passengers to exit a train or elevator before boarding.

I just was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.
What are your thoughts?

My pleco, Ralph, now lives alone in his 20 gallon long tank. My husband wants me to get more fish for the tank, and he says get 5-6 discus. I know discus grow, but when my goldfish grow too large for their tank, I can move everyone 'up one' so the discus will live in a 45 gallon tank. Can they grow larger if I get them a larger than 45 gallon tank?
