I want to join a sorority at my school. I have read all their history and hazing laws. I am scared that when I pledge they will try to do something to hurt me or put me through something that I am not expecting. I really want to be a part of this sorority. It has been my dream since I was about 9. What do I do?

i had a car repo 7 years ago and they are just now contacting me and harrassing me about it. i owed 11,000 dollars then, and now they say i owe 18,000 dollars. i haven't heard from them in about 4 years until now. my ex husband was the co signer on it, and i divorced him in 2000. I haven't even talked to him since. i don't know what to do, right now i am unemployed and 8 months pregnant. any suggestions on what to do?

I dropped out of high school in the 9th grade. I took a remedial english course but i failed the compass test which quiz students on english fragments, run-ons, verb form errors, subject-verb disagreements, shifts in person, shifts in verb tense, modifier problems, pronoun and disagreements, errors in punctuation, capitalization, and word usage.

I feel dumb and uneducated every day of my life when i am at my job interacting with my co-workers.

What can i do to improve my writing and identifying run-ons, verbs, punctuation etc....

I want to improve my grammar skills before i take the course again.

I've been reading the New York Times 3 hours every day for at least one year and that did not have an impact on my test results.

I guess reading does not help with your writing skills or identifying punctuation and run-ons in a sentence .

Do i need to read from a different source?

I am currently 21 years old.

Someone please help me!!!!

Why do a lot of women think that men want these stick figures like Paris Hilton? Statistics show that 80% of men in the United States prefer curves, so why do women listen to the TV, the fashion magazines, the movies, written by and controlled by Gay men and straight women? It seems no matter how hard you try you can not convince them otherwise. Curvy Black and Curvy Hispanic women are so proud of their figure because they know Black and Hispanic men appreciate it. I know some people watched it,.. many, I assume by the response to the earlier questions, did not... but for those who did, what did you think?

I didn't think it was that bad actually! I quite enjoyed it.
I thought that both families got what they needed! The kids (and Parents) on the motorcross family got some discipline and structure,... and the Pagan family got some fun!!!
And, no one's wands were broke in half! No one was too crazy, and everyone seemed normal-ish. ^_^ Yay!

Ok when you make formula from the can it says you have to boil the water and then let it cool to room tempurature fine so i do that.. do i still have to boil water for her to drink in her sippy cup because i just run the tap and give it to her like that.. then whats the difference from boiling the water for the formula does anyone know?
