ok, when do kids start acting like teens? if they were 11 or 12, would u consider them a kid(like a little person) or a teen (like an older person)? Its kind of a mix right? What would u treat them like? Im just wondering...

to be quite serious. you are not considered a 'young adult' until you are 15.

because 13 year olds are seen to be just excited about the fact that they are a teenager, and 14 year olds tend to be ridiculous.

i know this because i am an older sister of 2 younger siblings (one is 12 and the other 15), and i have also lived this...i'm 17. i also teach dance classes to kids of the 11 and 12 year old range. so i know how other people see them.

its hard to be taken seriously if you are 11 and 12. you'll still be treated like a kid. but you just need to prove that you are mature for your age, and when you do that people will treat you like a young adult much faster.

Anyone under 18 is legally a child and should be treated accordingly.

they are preteens, under no circumstances should they be treated like teenagers, they are not mature at all, they're all big poop heads
