Hi, I failed the 1 hour test a few weeks ago because the levels were too high. So they scheduled me to do the 3 hour test, which I did this morning. I have no risk factors for diabetes. They told me that my fasting glucose was 85, but didn't tell me the other readings. My doctor called earlier to say that while the readings were high, they were still too low to be considered diabetes, so she want's me to do the test again in a month. She said she was concerened about the last reading though, 3 hours after drinking the sugar stuff, was 45, which is low. It should have been between 70-100. I'm just scared and confused, and don't really understand what this means. After I got home I was all shaky and sweaty and weak until I ate, then I felt better. Diabetes is when your levels are high, right? That's why I failed the first time. But this time, they were in the range of normal, until the last reading, when the levels were much lower than normal. What do I have? Thank You for the help :)

I wrote this poem and am just wondering what other people think of it.Im a beginner,so its gonna be very rookie and rough.
"A Womans Nightmare"

You were heartless when you it
You werent thinking of her,
You were thinking of the sick revolting pleasure
And now you've changed her bright like sunshine world,
Into pain and heartache nobody can measure
Each night,while lying in bed
That dreadful moment plays over and over in her torn head,
Haunting her
You reminisce that sick moment,
Only you swim in the nightmare of it all
And every night,she cries,putting her hands to her face;shell fall
She thinks and thinks,knowing she wont recover!
Why couldnt you let her have her pride and dignity?
But that night,you did it with your thoughtless mind and stability
You're a selfish bastard!

I will be a junior in high school next year. I want to get into upenn or uva. Is it possible if I work very hard my junior and senior year?

current GPA: 3.3 weighted ,3.2 unweighted
i don't play any sports in school
i've been in band ever since elementray school ( only 2 years in HS because i'm quiting)
key club : about 50 hours from freshman and sophmore year
Spanish club

I'm planning on getting pretty well on SAT . I've started classes this summer and taking them until the SATs in the winter or spring.

I truely mean no disrespect just some honest answers. I love learning about others' paths but am very confused about Catholics. Catholics claim to be Christians right? How come you confess to man instead of God? How come you do infant baptism? Jesus taught forgiveness so then why are divorced couples banned from the church? Is any of this mentioned in the NT? I know judges are appointed, and with that position comes respect of due law and fair judgment. Should judges be expected to uphold their own personal morals as law, or uphold the existing established laws as the "moral authority"?

These days every Joe Smith with a good salespitch is forming a church and calling themselves "Christian". Back in the 1800's several new religious groups sprouted up during the many revival movements that were happening back then. Darwinism was telling people that we all evolved and that the whites were the superior race. Some of the new religious groups used racism to attract the white slave owners.

Thats when the KKK sprang up. They claimed Christianity , yet practiced violent Racism.

If, over the years they slowly changed their ways to become more mainstream and attract new followers, they denounced racism and got a revelation to allow African Americans into the Priesthood, would you consider them to be Christian?

What if they changed their name to the Klan of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and told everyone to pray in the name of Jesus?

What if they said they believe the Bible as long as it was translated correctly?

That all sounds Christian to me. You think?

Okay, today at work I seen a strange guy come down tot the service desk at work with a clipboard and asked to speek with a manager and they left up a hallway. Then I left to go home because my shift was over. BUT a few days before I had brought a magazine and 2 lipglosses at work and stole 3, if it is on camera can I get in trouble, or do they have to catch me at the time it happened? I'm scared I'll lose my job!!! Do they have to catch you in the act the time of the incedent am i free! or can they still prosicute me because i work there even though it was a few days before... I'm 18 and I am worried I'll get locked up! should i quit to not get in trouble?? Help .. any answers....??

Three mice are sitting in a bar in a pretty rough neighborhood late at night trying to impress each other about how tough they are. The first mouse slams a shot of scotch, and pounds the shot glass to the bar, turns to the second mouse and says: "When I see a mousetrap, I get on it, lie on my back, and set it off with my foot.
