I am 14 years old and me and my 2 best friends have the same period? Is this strange?

yes..that is totally normal....there are hormones that travel through the hands in girls/ women...through things u touch, and things like that...if u are around eachother often this is totally normal...hope this helps!! = ]

Not really. When women live together or spend a lot of time together it is often the case that their menstrual cycles become the same. It's a phenomenon not well understood but it's been happening for ages and ages...........Have fun together!

No it's very normal!
If you hang out/ live withe the same women for a long time your periods line up . ( ha like stars )

There have been studies (as I recall) that show that women in the same vicinity synchronize their menstrual cycles. Odd isn't it?

no...it has been proven that ppl who spend long amounts of time together tend to have the same cycle
me, my mom, and 2 friends all have the same cycle
(which i like because if i dont have a tampon i know that one of them will) =)

It's a normal thing that happens. Females that hang out together, get their periods in synch. It happens a lot.

are you girls co-habitating? do you spend alot of time together as if you were living together??
they say its a survivial instinct thing, when women live together they can smell the pheremones and gradually all women will menstruate at the same time. weird huh! i dont know the science behind it but a friend of mine told me about it.

my friend had a theory. All girls have their period at the exact same time every month, or so it seems
