You have nothing to worry about, yes, they are going to scare you in every which way so just play along, if it was expensive stuff, they would definitely prosecute you but I use to be just like you and I got caught, luckily the manager was nice and I returned the stuff I had stole and I promised to be good and with you, you are not going to juvenile and the only bad thing that can happen to you is, you will be suspended depending on how your boss is.

If you were caught on camera you may just get a warning or you may be fired, depending on the employer you may also be arrested. Put the money for what you stole in the till first thing in the morning and if anyone asks just tell them you meant to pay for them but forgot so your paying for it now.
Quitting won't solve anything, they can still prosecute you. You may not have been caught this time and if you quit you will have done it for no reason.
You should not have stolen anything, but you will have to live with the consequences of your actions if and when your caught.
Don't steel, not only is it wrong, it's something that will go on your permanent record and it's not worth it. It will destroy your entire life.
Is steeling 3 lip-glosses or magazines worth going to prison for and having a record that may preclude you from ever working again for the rest of your life?

I doubt you'll keep your job. If I were your boss, I'd let you go. There's enough shrinkage from the public, he doesn't need it from his employees too. All he needs is proof. No one has to see you. That's what the cameras are there for.
If you did it, you should get fired. And you're 18. you're not a kid anymore which means it will most likely be on your permenant employment record. Your SIN number can be checked out and any future employer will see what you've done.
You've made a grevious mistake here. You'll just have to learn from it. It may have a very negative effect on your future employability and will most likely result in you losing this job. At the very least.
Maybe one way to help smooth this over is to act genuinely remorseful and not just upset because you might get caught.

I'm not going to sugarcoat this, sweetie. First, I doubt they reviewed the tape. If they're like most stores, they probably already taped over it.
Second, if you act this freaked out over lip glosses and a magazine, I bet you give clues to everyone you work with about what a thief you are. They already know without having seen it. You need to straighten up.
Third, if you put the money for it in the till like someone suggested, they'll wonder why there's extra money in the till. They'll wonder if someone's stealing from them, embezzling. You don't want to add gasoline to your petty arson.
Next, you should pray to God about this and stop stealing. Yes, you can be fired. Yes, your reputation can be ruined. But you can stop it now. A good habit would be to pay attention to others' stealing and make it a big problem for you, make it something you abhor and then you won't do it.
It seems as if you wanted to get caught or experience a thrill.
I don't know if you're in trouble yet, but even if you don't get in trouble, you have to live with knowing what you've done.

First off grow up and start buying the things you want. If you have a job you should be able to afford some freakin lip gloss. Next yes you can get fired if they see you stealing on camera and you could get arrested though I doubt it if its something so small. It really is up to the boss if they will call the police on you or not. Your 18 now and you can go to jail more easily than you could before turning 18. If you do or don't get caught let this be a lesson to you that you shouldn't break the law!!!

Look dont listen to all people telling you that your a thief and your pathetic. people steal all the time even the people that are calling you a thief. Im not saying its ok to steal but your not a bad person just because you did. Look if its on camera and they see then youll get fired depending on the manager there you might go to jail. But look they arent worried about a lip gloss and some magazines only if there has been a recent problem with make-up theft and magazines will they look at the tape. But for reals though dont worry about it they make billions of dollars a year 20 dollars worth of product dont mean anything. But look dont steal anymore thats just not cool and if you do steal keep it to a minimum and be smart dont get caught. If I were you I would be calm about it and if they do catch you which they probably wont just fess up and say yea I stole it and just take it like a man dont put up a sob story like a dumb but. like i said the only way they will look at the tape is if there has been a big theft problem with make-up or magazines. Dont worry about youll be ok just dont do it again.

If it's on camera, then they did catch you in the act at the time it happened.
For that little, you'd probably just get fired. Usually if the cost of the merchandise is less than what the cost of a court case is, they won't attempt to prosecute.
It's a bad idea to steal from where you work. Well, it's a bad idea to steall period, but worse at your work.

lol, a majority of company thefts are commited by employees because they know the ins and outs of the system. Anyways, you are a perfect example of an amateur theif. I've worked three different jobs and at each of those jobs I've worked at I have seen ten different cases of theft at each job.
The way people steal is hilarious because it is so obvious. One guy saw that I noticed his routine of stealing alcohol and he started freaking out. So hilarious...
Anyways, they will probably just fire you since you didn't steal anything of significance. Let this be a lesson that cheaters never win. Whats the point in living if you are going to cheat your way through life. Living a fake life is pathetic and weak.

If you stole and they have it on camera, it does not matter your age or if you quit or anything else. You stole, that is breaking the law and you could be arrested. It does not matter if a few days have gone by. They would have caught you in the act because you are on the camera. What do you think surveillance cameras are for?
Why would you want to steal? That is ridiculous. You are there to perform your job you get paid for not to steal. Grow up.

If they saw you on camera, you'll be fired. They could probably prosecute you but for such a small amount they most likely won't. I'm wondering if you might think it's possible you could be suffering from a guilty conscience? Maybe you're imagining the meaning of the "guy with the clip board". You really need to learn a lesson from this......STOP STEALING!!!!! I wouldn't keep an employee if I knew they stole from me.
