Would you rather feel all the world's physical pain or all the world's emotional pain? I.E, for the first one you would feel every gunshot, broken bone, stomachache, etc everyone in the world is experiencing at that moment. For the second one you would feel the sorrow for everyone's lost loved ones, every tear, etc.
But not only would you feel all this pain, you would also get to feel either every physical pleasure or every emotional pleasure. Basically your choice is between physical and psychology. What is your pick?

I am planning on getting my sister and her groom a gift certificate for a night a nearby resort. They aren't going on a honeymoon and have a toddler son. My mom has offered to babysit (I live out of of town) for them when they want to go. Would you enjoy this or feel that it was too intrusive?

I told the groom's mother what I was planning and she thought it was too intrusive to assume that they would want to go there.

Ed and Ted stood on the top of a cliff. Ed held a budgerigar in his hand. Ted had a parrot.
"I'll go first," said Ed and with that he stepped out into empty space and fell thirty foot to the ground below breaking both legs and fracturing his pelvis. Unconcerned Ted threw his parrot up, drew a pistol and shot the poor bird before it had chance to fly away. Then he stepped off the cliff and plummeted to the ground faring little better than Ed.
Ed rolled painfully until he was face to face with Ted. "I'm going to give up budgie-jumping," he said.
"Yeah," said Ted. "And I don't think this parrot shooting is all its cracked up to be either."

I don't have any talent, i take voice lessons but my parents don't have a lot of money... and i don't have a job so i can't take acting lessons. I tried to get a job in my town for my plan.

Okay, my old plan was...

o1.To get a job so that i could get a new voice teacher (because mine always cancels)


o2.After i was done with voice i would start taking acting lessons, and maybe some kind of comedy lessons too.

o3.Get an agent and join some plays.

o4.Try out for some movies or tv shows.

But because i don't have a job i can't get famous. I'm 13... and i don't want to be "the next disney channel star" i don't even like disney, but anyway i want to be the next young Sarah Silverman!

Oh and if you bother to comment DON'T say "you don't want to be famous" or "don't be like Sarah Silverman" because if i get any of that crap i will report.

OK, so one of the big arguments between the Roman and Celtic churches back in the 7th century, was the calculation of Easter. The Roman church used the Peter/Paul method - first Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox. Anyone out there know how the Celtic church calculated it? Been looking for years, never been able to find out. (Some think they used the Johannine calculation - though no one seems to know what this was either - or at least no one I've come across).

An apartment complex near me has a sign that reads M-O-N-T-R-E-U-X, but on the TV commercial they pronounce it "Mawn-troe" I thought the spelling of that French word was M-O-N-T-R-E-A-U-X. Notice the missing "A" in their sign? I think the sign maker screwed up. What do you think?
