I had been on a music discussion board. Me and another guy were arguing against a bunch of others on some trivial point. The argument got quite heated and insults started flying (mostly against the guy I had sided with). We eventually won the argument. He said "I'm sure you're white but you're now an honorary n****r". This gave me the impression that my friend was black. There were metaphorical howls of protest at this "insult" (lots of scolding in capital letters) but I remain convinced that it was intended as a compliment and I gratefully accepted it as such. Comments or opinions please?

my husband is so jealous of my relationship with the family (it was my ex's sister) that I can't even call to give my condolences---even my MOTHER is calling them. I really wanted to call and be there for them. How would you handle it if you were me? I was really close to her when we were together, and we were still friendly afterwards.

ive been dating this guy bout a month, and like when we 1st met we hung out alot, and my mom would take me to his house to hang out, but like bout 2 weeks ago my mom stoped taking me over there for some reason, just like every time i asked if i could get a ride, she'd be like maybe... then totally diss the idea. ive asked several times b4 hand like a few days in advance if she'd take me over to his house, but shes always like either said no, or maybe, then no answer bak, how do i talk to her seriously to take me to see my bf?

With the police abusing their power against african-americans more and more, how can any black person justify becoming a cop? One time is too many, and we have seen or known of this happening, and the rationale of "well, maybe I can make a difference" just doesn't wash. Why would you betray your race by going over to the enemy? And yes it is a betrayal. The system is not for you at all, so what convinces you that its OK to make a deal with the man? Going along to get along isn't working. Do you realize that the crack epidemic is aimed AT you, its a blatant form of genocide perpetrated by the white government to "disappear" your people, yet you help them by locking up millions of young black men. Why?

Mine like the clear plastic containers with the snap on lids that toys come in from the 'gumball' machines. I put a couple of pennies in them then seal the lid. They love to bat them around.

They also LOVE the little fluffy crafts balls that you can get at Wal-Mart in the craft dept. (Mine like the shiny ones). They usually come a bunch in a bag (which is good because they lose them all the time!)

And a favorite of one of my cats is a crushed up cigarette pack or box (with the celephane left on). That is her "throw and fetch" toy.

I am a gymnast, but I'm getting to tall. I do floor and bars the best, but I'm not good at walking on my hands or that kind of stuff. My back is extremely flexible and I can do a split all three ways.
I went over and asked the sports people what sport I should do. One said gymnastics (that's the sport i'm quitting), another wrestling. I forgot how stupid jocks can be. Anyway, I think I'll try a type of dance. Not cheerleading. And I'm not too fond of tu-tu's either.

I submit that the Atheist, in disbelief of God, does not know who they are...children of a loving and wonderful God. And live in hollow, self-serving lives.
They will argue and mock but there has to be that place in their hearts and minds where they feel something is missing, and life is incomplete a place where God longs to be... to give them peace in the questions of life that are not answered without him.
I only wish that hearts would be softened and the healing and love of God to give abundance in this life and the glory of eternal life with God would be with them also.

I have a tiny kitchen (about 12 ft x 6ft) and I'm thinking of remodeling. I've seen those stovetops that can be installed on to a counter with drawers or a dishwasher underneath and I think I want that instead of the oven/stove combo everyone seems to have. Since we use the toaster oven for everything the regular oven never gets used and seems to be wasting a lot of space. But that's because there are two residents - I'd imagine that someone with kids would need an oven, right? Anyway, would not having an oven in the kitchen be a problem when I eventually go to resell the house?

They are infiltrating our hospitals and police, and because of the barmy PC brigade nothing can be done about it!!

Are we all expected to sit back and accept that one day a lot of people of all religions will be brutally murdered, and the so called "muslims" who carry out these attacks will just laugh in our face as they get maybe 10 years!!

Ok, me and my gf have gone out for like 3 months, i dont really believe in high school love and my gf does. I realized that i am not really into relationships and i want out. However my gf "thinks she is in love" and says stuff like i dont know what i would do without u and i would do anything for you and like\ all this other stuff. So in that case i feel kind of bad. She is kind of the person who lives in a fairy tale when i am around and i am like lets have fun. This is dealing with Parametric Curves.

You are given the following:

x = ln(t) y = sqrt(t) t >= 1

Eliminate the parameter to find a Cartesian equation of the curve.

I was thinking that you solve for t in the x equation and then plug it into the y equation.

But if thats right, how do you do that? E both sides?
