When I first learnt French at school we sang a song parrot fashion. From what I made out I believd it to be about a mother forgetting a feather and needing to buy another, but have never been quiet sure! This is what I sang - can anyone correct the French and tell me the correct story?

I recently purchased a guitar, but it needs to be tuned. I don't have a piano, or a pitch pipe-- I know there are online sites you can go to to get the pitch, but if I go to a music store would they tune it for me?

I was meant to go on holiday today,only now I can't go till tomorrow,because the man who was fixing the car,has turned around and said it won't be fixed in time,it's due for an mot,this man has had the car for over 3months(fitting a new engine),he's constantly lying(saying he's done it,then he turns around and says it's still got to be done)never answers the phone when we(my dad)phones,he's always out working so he says.
And I'm so fed-up,he's totaly ruined the family holiday,and their is no-one that could take us down to this holiday home(it's a 5hr drive,I think)
What can I do,I mean if I loose my temper the man might not finish the job on the car.

After I've had the car back,he'll have such a ear bashing(with my words),strips will be torn off him(with my words),he'll wish he'd never become a machanic.

a friend of mines family member is now serving a 70 yr jail term based on an innterogation tape that was called a confession,,he was cleary under the influence and the lead detective in the case has been in the news several times for gettin false confessions and those cases have been overturned,,,anyone that can help please do...this man is locked up for life...based on an illegal interrogation email me at derekobrown@yahoo..thanks

I am looking to start up cycling. I will probably start out riding about 100 miles a week and work my way up from that. I want a bike on the cheaper side, but not so cheap I am coughing up money every week on parts. Any suggestions?
