Fox news is not responsible for those who wish to spout drivel instead of asking questions.

I believe Fox News, more than any other network news, is specifically designed to increase Fox ratings. I sense this is a bigger priority to them than providing an excellent news service. Personally, I find Fox News terribly annoying. I turn off the TV and get the vast majority of my news online.
As for "answers" drivel? Some of it is legitimate or from people who are clueless for one reason or another. Much of what really is "drivel" is posted by bored people with way too much free time on their hands.

I think many people come up with their own drivel - I know I do :-)
But, I do believe that Fox News is a very effective propaganda machine. Its hyper-conservative point of view and habit of making complex issues into simplistic black and white issues does a grave disservice to the public.
Fox has reduced the art of debate (a meticulously researched exchange of ideas) to playground name calling and yelling.

I don't know if it's completely responsible for some of the crap that's spewed by some of these people, but Fox Noise is responsible for Bush being in office, among other terrible things.
