I don't think so. Just as long as it doesn't become an obsession.

A little bit of fantasy never hurt a relationship. Actually sometimes it makes it stronger. After reading a really hot story that really turned her on a woman might think that would be something she'd like to try with her boyfriend.
Cheating to me is following through with the act with someone other than your boy/girlfriend.
I honestly don't mind a little porn. Every once in awhile I like to read a story or two myself. The only thing I would have a problem with is if my boyfriend spent more time with porn than me. That's a sign something is wrong and it could possibly lead to cheating. If my boyfriend was turning to porn for personal satisfaction rather than me it's easy to turn to another woman but porn itself in any form is not cheating.

Isn't it strange.....that a man can look at porn, be it movies or book form, or, as in your case, erotic stories, and no, it is not considered cheating, and seems to be quite acceptable behaviour, even though most wives would agree that it hurts them, unless of course they are watching it with you.
I, for one, feel totally cheated, and undesirable, but no, it's not cheating. But in a woman's case, if her porn addict husband does not want her sexually any more, and she finds a romantic penpal on-line, (not sex, just friendship,) she is considered a cheater. You're quite normal it seems.

I don't think any of the examples you gave are cheating, though it can lead to a rift in the relationship.
What I DO believe is cheating is the online flirting many people engage in, thinking it's okay. It's not. If you are carrying on a sexually-charged relationship with a "real person"...I know people online are not always what they appear or claim to be, so you don't need to tell me that... If you are carrying on this sort of relationship with a flesh-and-blood person, you are cheating.
None of the examples you gave are relationships...and the people in books are not "real."

In my opinion, watching or reading porn is not cheating. It's entertaining a bit of fantasy. However, it is not a good thing to become obsessed with porn.

Its not cheating. At most it could give you ideas and maybe incorporate some of it into your own personal life.
Maybe read some to her and get a little heat going.
Sounds fun! :)
