The anti Christ is not a person.
It is a term that is meant to be descriptive of the way certain pseudo Christians pretend to be followers of Jesus. People like Pat Robertson and Jerry Fallwell, They are a minority, but they are so vocal they drown out the rest.
Jesus always stood for a loving, inclusive, nonjudgmental approach to his fellow man.
The bigot pseudo Christians see their brand of Christianity as an exclusive club from which they judge all others as being unworthy of any fate other than burning in hell.
Their actions are almost the exact opposite of what Jesus Christ taught.
Hence the name antichrist, or opposite of Christ.
Love and blessings Don

Daniel 9:26 says the anitchrist will come from a country that was once part of the Roman empire. If we take prophesy literally, and we should, that would mean Europe, since that was the extend of the Roman empire in the first century when Jerusalem was destroyed.
Could the antichrist come from America? That's a stretch. First you extend the Roman empire ot the British empire, then to America. That's a long way from Daniel's prophesy.

The anti-christ will come as a person who will spread peace without the entire world. Everyone will love him and worship him (like hitler did to the natzis). He will pretend to be good and peacefull. Then he will show himself as the devil and then that is when jesus will come again to destroy the devil once and for all and to save all his belivers. The anit-christ could be alive right now. Who knows he could be a 7 year old kid in France for all we know.
Many people thought the pope was the anti-christ because he spreads peace and what not.
So when that one person goes into power and everyone loves him, i'll be the rebel and hide underground until christ comes to destroy him.
Anyways, no one knows where the anti-christ will come from and personally i dont care because know one will no its him until he shows his true self

I answered this last night. Because Daniel saw the little horn ( Anti-Christ) coming out of the Grecian Empire we can narrow it down to Greece, Turkey, Syria, or Egypt. Otherwise known as the European nation. Read Daniel chapter 8.No. He's not american.

I don't believe the anti-Christ is a single person. Anti means false. So if a person teaches Christ but it is not the Christ of the bible you have a false Christ or anti Christ. This spirit of anti Christ has been prevalent for many centuries. I think the most popular anti Christ teaching is the doctrine of the trinity. It teaches that Jesus is God when nowhere in the bible does it say that. It makes Jesus someone who He is not.
Another type of anti christ today is the pope. He calls himself the vicor of Christ. He tries taking the place of Christ but tries harder to take the place of God. It would be ok if he were to try to be like Christ, we all should, but he says Christ is God and thinks he is taking the place of God. This is the spirit of anti christ.

I heard a sermon one time that said the Anti-Christ was to come from Babylon. Babylon was seemingly destroyed for the past century - but it was in the process of being rebuilt, by none other than Sadam Hussein (he's dead now, can I say his name?).
I don't think America is going to have a place in the last days, honestly. Listen to the sermon titled "The Return of Christ and the Jewish People" below, I think it addresses this...

No, I haven't seen any proof of it. Who knows who or what the Anti-Christ is.

that would be surprising given that the bible was blissfully oblivious of both the american and the european continent. To those primitives, the middle east WAS the world. See also the maps they produced.
