A man met a beautiful lady and he decided he wanted to marry her right away. She said, "But we don't know anything about each other." He said, "That's all right, we'll learn about each other as we go along." So she consented, and they were married, and went on a honeymoon to a very nice resort.

So one morning they were lying by the pool, when he got up off of his towel, climbed up to the 10 Meter board and did a two and a half-tuck gainer, this was followed by a three rotations in jackknife position, where he straightened out and cut the water like a knife. After a few more demonstrations, he came back and lay down on the towel.
She said, "That was incredible!"

He said, "I used to be an Olympic diving champion. You see, I told you we'd learn more about each other as we went along."

So she got up, jumped in the pool, and started doing laps. After about thirty laps she climbed back out and lay down on her towel hardly out of breath.

He said, "That was incredible!

have them play their best 10 in rank order. For example, if I think the SEC and PAC-10 are best, Florida would play USC, LSU would play cal and so forth (and no I don't). Predict who wins each game and why and crown your own best conference. 10 points goes to the most insight and explanation.

Polish divorce

A Polish man moved to the USA and married an American girl. Although his English was far from perfect, they got along very well until one day he rushed into a lawyer's office and asked him if he could arrange a divorce for him.

The lawyer said that getting a divorce would depend on the circumstances, and asked him the following questions:

L: Have you any grounds?

P: Yes, an acre and half and nice little home.

L: No, I mean what is the foundation of this case?

P: It made of concrete.

L: I don't think you understand. Does either of you have a real grudge?

P: No, we have carport, and not need one.

L: I mean. What are your relations like?

P: All my relations still in Poland

L: Is there any infidelity in your marriage?

P: We have hi-fidelity stereo and good DVD player.

L: Does your wife beat you up?

P: No, I always up before her.

L: Is your wife a ******?

P: No, she white.

L: Why do you want this divorce?

P: She going to kill me.

L: What makes you think that?

P: I got proof.

L: What kind of proof?

P: She going to poison me. She buy a bottle at drugstore and put on shelf in bathroom. I can read, and it say: 'Polish Remover'

War Costs Soar by a Third; Total Could Top $1.4 Trillion
It’s not just the troops that are surging. War costs are up for American operations in Iraq and Afghanistan more than a third higher than last year. In the first half of this fiscal year, the Defense Depart.'s "average monthly obligations for contracts and pay is running about $12 billion per month, well above the $8.7 billion in FY2006," says a new report, from the non-partisan Congressional Research Service.
Additional war costs for the next 10 years could total about $472 billion if troop levels fall to 30,000 by 2010, or $919 billion if troop levels fall to 70,000 by about 2013. If these estimates are added to already appropriated amounts, total funding about $980 billion to $1.4 trillion by 2017. Meanwhile, Inside Defense reports that "top Pentagon budget and program officials have directed the military services to prepare spending proposals to finance Iraq and Afghanistan operations. 2. You can call her a mouse, cannot call her a rat;

3. Call a woman a chicken, but never a hen;

4. You can call her a duck, cannot call her a goose;

5. You can call her a deer, but never a moose;

6. You can call her a lamb but never a sheep;

7. Economic she lives, but you can't call her cheap.

8. You can say she's a vision, can't say she's a sight;

9. And no woman's skinny, she's slender and slight.

10. If she should burn you up, say she sets you afire,

My children, my mother, & I were having lunch today and we started a conversation on space, cosmos, and all....

Anyway, through this conversation I discovered that all of them (and the several people I have asked since then) can imagine what something they have never really seen would look like (for instance, a tiger walking accross my living room.) I, however, can't actually picture that image or any image I havent ever actually seen.

What does that mean?

So these past few nights we have heard/seen racoons on our deck and on our back lawn. We live in a fairly big city and this just recently started. We dont leave any trash/food out. What can we do to get rid of them?? Is trapping the only real thing? We have 2 toddlers as well, and I dont want to take them outside....I'm afraid they might find some coon turds or something!!

I'm only 27 (lol) but everytime I hear people talking about My Chemical Romance, Fallout Boy, Nickleback, etc, I think what is wrong with most people today? And then I remember that the generation above me probably thought the same thing.
I always presume that the people that like these bands, must be about 15 - which is unfair. It makes me feel ashamed. Do YOU feel guilty for making such presumtions?

(Sorry this question is a bit long-winded).
