Get back on. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

Always get back on that horse. If it grabs the reigns from you, turn it's head to the side so it runs in a circle, until it gets tired and learns to see things your way. If the horse was really annoying though, inspite of everything else, I would ask for a new horse the next time.

Get right back on.

I try not to delegate the blame on others. It was my own shortcoming; it was I, who was the inept rider

So now all that I need to do is to learn from the fall and improve myself the second time around.

Harnessing the reigns between the heart and the mind, looking to equip oneself better rather than pointing an accusing finger (or gun, for that matter), and may we reach the end of that journey with our souls whole and intact…

Because the other option would mean making the long, dreary trek back home alone, on foot, and hampered down with the stains of blood on the hands...

If the horse has thrown you, then it obviously must be tamed.

If conditions necessitate, I would of course return to the horse, but given a free amount of time, I would train the horse to let me ride it. Simple? perhaps, but in truth, the world is what you make it, sometimes it just takes a bit of effort.

I wouldn't shoot it!, that's just cruel and nasty!
I can't believe a Gemini like you would think in that kind of mindset, I thought the pig question was bad enough.
After cursing at it, I would try to catch it and get back on, unless my injuries were nasty.

SHOOT it? Por que? That doesn't solve your problem. Get up, dust off your pants & try again. If it's YOU, stop riding & do something else. If the horse doesn't want to be ridden, let it be.

Get back. Next time depends how much I want to be on it. Never shoot it. Set it free.

Get back on - I got back on. That is the only way to overcome your fears. To shoot it is the coward's cheap way out. Then there you are, on the ground.

Get back on. Best horse I ever owned would throw you in a heart beat. But rattlesnakes, bobcats, cougars, didn't phase him one bit.

Get back on and teach the horse who's boss.

I would put the horse out to pasture. And it would happily eat apples from my hand ever after or something.
