but the past week, he hasnt been calling me lately. and i feel like he doesnt care and that im not as important to him. he was sick most of last week, and its a holiday, and i think that might be the reason why hes not calling me. what do you think? and do you think hes a good boyfriend? why or why not?

he hasnt called me at all 2day. but he is at a friends house...

I'm looking for ideas to lower my electricity bill. I live in So CAL and its extremely hot.

I live in a 2 story home that is about 2500 sq ft and I we a pool. We have 7 in the household (5 teenagers). In the summer my electric bill runs about $630 to $710.

My upstairs room never really completely cools so I purchased a 12,000 BTU portable A/C, which I'm hoping will be less expensive than running my A/C. Any thoughts on this being cheaper?

Also, is it less expensive to run things outside of the peak hrs of (2pm-6pm) or is it the same cost?

Should I unplug items that aren't running, coffee pot, computer, curling iron, toaster, etc. when not in use or does it matter since it isn't turned on?

Thanks for your feedback, I did look through past questions for history but didn't quite answer all my questions.

@ a party Sat., one of my roommate’s friends challenged anyone to box him in the living room. There was only 1 set of gloves, so we had to share them. We were both very intoxicated. Someone put the left-handed glove on me because I couldnt get it on, but Im right handed. As it began, we both hit each other with the gloves at the same time, but instincts took over and I immediately threw my right bare hand and hit his head. He fell. On the way down he hit the back of his head on a glass table and was unconscious for about 5 min. His brother was there and is a paramedic. The police came and so did the ambulance, but they declined to go to the hospital. A week later, the guy I punch went to the hospital cuz he was having headaches and had surgery for a fracture on the back of his head due to the fall, and had swelling in the front of his brain. He had no insurance. I figured his bro should have not waited a week to take him in, especially if hes a paramedic. How much at fault am I 4 this?

I'm 13 and for the first time i put it in a tampon. last time i was in the bathroom crying for an hour cuz it was stuck and i couldnt get it out and it hurt so much....but i really did it. but i know ur not supposed to feel anything, but i do..but it doesnt hurt. when i put the applicator in, i didnt feel anything...and then i pushed the thingy to push the tampon in....and i didnt feel anything, but when i stood up and started walking....i felt a bit of something...well theres something in my body so of course i should feel it, but is this normal, or is there supposed to be ABSOLUTELY NO FEELING AT ALL? and also... im shaking uncontrollably cuz im nervous right now...cuz i am kinda happy and this is new, and my muscles are probably tight, is that whats making me feel it? is it normal that i feel it a little bit?

the unit is in excellent working condition and has many accessories. My husband is disabled and no longer uses it, so it is for sale. I have no idea what he paid for it or what the value may be in today's market. Most of the accessories were added after he purchased it.

i've allways wanted to be famous and it feels awkard seeing people in movies and seeing they actually lived their dreams. It feels like you don't exist and no one really knows who you actually are. I go to a small college, about 1400 people. Recently, I noticed a damage charge on my financial statement for last semester's payment. I never recieved an email, letter, or any notification. I asked others who lived in my dorm, and they all found they had the same charge. When I emailed residence life, they told me that it was a charge for damage done to the walls in the building (i.e. drunk guys punching holes in the wall) and the broken front door. General damage, not just any particular room.
They supposedly billed everyone in the dorm, which would total to $11,000, for damage that the majority of people living there did not impose. Also, no one recieved any documentation or notification. They just put the charge on our bills, hoping no one would notice. Furthermore, they took the money out of our housing deposits, leaving us in debt AND possibly without housing.
I'm wondering if anyone thinks I should persue this further, and if so, how? I really appreciate your help.

OK I am talking about OASDI/EE and MED/EE. I know that the first is something to do with Social Security, and the second is medicare or medicaid. I know that everyone pays these, but I am a little confused.

I work for the State of Connecticut, through the college I attend. I only work 12 hours a week (except the Summer, which I am working anywhere between 20-32 hours). I just got my second summer paycheck, and both of these things are being taken out, which they never have before. I have been working here for three years, and no pay raise sense before last Summer. All that was being pulled out then was federal and state, until this check. So what changed, and should it have? It only adds up to about $45, but I don't make very much anyways. I need to save during the summer because I make so little in the semester. Anyone with REAL answers, thank you in advance.
