it is life it self.. to be able to drive and be independent now day they do not have the neighborhood stores.. you could walk to them and get what you wanted.. i use to walk with my grandmother.. there was only one car in the family.. my dad's.. and if you did not have a bike or a horse you walked.. doctors do not make house calls any more. they are miles away. were i live there are no buses.. there is a cab but who can pay there prices.. so the car to me is the life line to life..

Everything. My city is stuck in the past and there is no public transportation! Ok.. in the major city by me you can take a bus around town, but that's it. Everything is so spread out here if you didn't have a car you would never go anywhere.

Nothing I drove for 50 years taught others for 25 .. I know im not safe on the road..So content to share a stetch limo with trolly poles and a crabby driver

Without a vehicle, we would be living like Daniel Boone!! The nearest grocery store is 12 mi., work is 35 mi., and any form of entertainment is 12 - 40 mi. away. So ~ yeah, it means a lot to me!!!

After my daughter..its the most important thing in the world for me..its my freedom ...i love driving and just getting away from it all to the beach for a while!! ;)

Food, emergency medical transportation, being able to get to social activities, work, help others that need rides.....pretty awesome, indeed!
