are tampons better than pads? which brands are good?!?

i like playtex sport..because you can do alot of movement in them.. and they are better then pads but sometimes i use both.. but i really like playtex sport

When you first get your period, start with pads. But after a few months, you can switch to tampons if you like. To me, tampons are a little uncomfortable (even if inserted correctly), so I use pads. It's a little messier, but it beats putting up with being uncomfortable. For pads, I use Always with wings (Always wings are bigger than other brands, keeping the blood from spilling onto your panties). When swimming or wearing a thong, I use Playtex tampons. The plastic applicators are so much better than the cardboard ones! Just remember the pantyliner backup for no spotting on the panties!

I'd say that pads are better. I know that when you wear a tampon, you veen get blood on your panties. But when you wear a pad, you're safe from getting blood everywhere. But thats not the only thing. Tampons are also bad because when they are inside of you, the old blood causes infection. So I suggest that you shouldn't wear a tampon.

yes they are and tampax pearl plastic
u can go swimming with tampons but pads u cant and tampons DONT hurt i should know if used them for about 2 years and im 14

Playtex works best for me. I can't STAND cardboard applicators, and with Playtex, the tampon applicator is always smooth plastic. Tampax does not work well. I find that Tampons are better than pads, by far.

pads and tampons cant be better than one another... they serve different functions. what ever your preference... i like tampax pearls when it comes to tampons and always when it comes to pads... try a couple of brands and see what suits you!

I think they are better than pads. I use Tampax Pearl, they are smaller and go in very easily. I have also used the Tampax Slender since they are smaller as well.
