The crowd was acting out the plan of God
The plan, which was progressively revealed by the prophets, is made clear from the book of Genesis through to the book of Malachi.
Jesus died for my sins also. But, if you neglect so great a salvation, what other hope do you have?

He knew he would be the one chosen to die, prophecy clearly outlines that. It also outlines the second coming.
Jesus' death was the last sacrifice for the atonement of sins and the fulfilling of the prophecy that came though the Jewish people.Prior to that, priests had to sacrifice a goat each year for the Jews for the atonement (clearing) of sins on Yom Kippor.(spelling?)

It's suppose to mean he's taking the rap for everyone's sins and that is his punishment (I think). Actually he died to show everyone that you will rise from the dead because no one really dies. The Catholic people messed up the truth.

Those people behaved the way they did because it was part of God's plan... He arranged things and put it in their hearts to behave that way so that His innocent Son Jesus Christ would be sacrificed, so that the penalty for your sins would be paid.
Why would you reject such a wonderful message? God has made a way for your sins to be forgiven because your penalty has been paid *by Him*.
Have you ever told a lie? Ever? God sees you as a liar. Have you ever looked at another person to whom you were not married with lust or sexual desire in your heart? God sees you as an adulterer. Have you ever hated anybody? God calls that murder (read Matthew 7). "But everyone's done that stuff!" people say, and they're right! God's standard is perfecttion because HE is perfect and not one of us can live up to it... but God still made a way for us to be forgiven... just have faith in Jesus Christ and his righteousness will be credited to you! Your sins will be forgiven and you'll be able to go to heaven!
The formula: ascknowledge that you *have* in fact sinned against God... stop denying that you are a sinner or comparing yourself to other people to feel better about yourself. Repent of your sins (decide not to do them any more). Pray for forgivness in the name of Jesus Christ... trust that Christ paid the price and that you can be forgiven because he paid your eternal fine. God will forgive you, and give you a new heart with new desires so that you won't want to sin against Him any more (this is what it is to be born again). Read the bible and pray to Him every day for wisdom and understanding... He promises that if you seek Him you WILL find Him.

Because they are idiots. It's pretty hard to die for the sins of people who won't be born for another TWO THOUSAND YEARS. But anyone who has hung around with X-tians for more than 5 minutes know they never let common sense stand in the way of their religious rubbish.

without Jesus dieing for your sins, you have no way to get into heaven...that was God's way of saving everyone...you are clearly an atheist and someone who has NEVER read the BIBLE....John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

because saying that Jesus was killed because the Roman leadership thought he might start a revolt dose not sound as nice.

They say that because the Catholic church interpreted it that way. However, it has no basis in anything you'll find in the Bible.
