My 8 year old son will only eat sweets of any kind, chiken nuggets, pizza without the cheese, peanut butter sandwiches, waffles and pancakes (there may be a few other foods but they do not come to mind). When I can occasionally convince him that a particular food is tasty, he will happily try it, but will almost certainly gag. The mere sight on an open can of chunk light tuna has made him gag. He is very sensitive to drops of water on his eating utensils and specs of food on the food he intends to eat. He seems very happy, healthy and well adjusted in other respects. What can I do? The problem may be getting worse.

Dear Golden angel

1. From 9 June to 9 July 2006, you should read the sports section of the newspaper so that you are aware of what is going on regarding the World Cup, and that way you will be able to join in the conversations. If you fail to do this, then you will be looked at in a bad way, or you will be totally ignored. DO NOT complain about not receiving any attention.

2. During the World Cup, the television is mine, at all times, without any exceptions. If you even take a glimpse of the remote control, you will lose it (your eye).

3. If you have to pass by in front of the TV during a game, I don't mind, as long as you do it crawling on the floor and without distracting me.

4. During the games I will be blind, deaf and mute, unless I require a refill of my drink or something to eat. You are out of your mind if you expect me to listen to you, open the door, answer the telephone.

5. It would be a good idea for you to keep at least 2 six packs in the fridge at all times, as well as plenty of things to nibble on, and please do not make any funny faces to my friends when they come over to watch the games. In return, you will be allowed to use the TV in the afternoon, unless they replay a good game that I missed.

6. Please, please, please!! If you see me upset because one of my teams is losing, DO NOT say "get over it, its only a game", or "don't worry, they'll win next time". If you say these things, you will only make me angrier and I will love you less. Remember, you will never ever know more about football than me and your so called "words of encouragement" will only lead to a divorce.

7. You are welcome to sit with me to watch one game and you can talk to me during halftime but only when the commercials are on, and only if the halftime score is pleasing me. In addition, please note I am saying "one" game; hence do not use the World Cup as a nice cheesy excuse to "spend time together".

8. The replays of the goals are very important. I don't care if I have seen them or I haven't seen them, I want to see them again. Many times.

9. Tell your friends NOT to have any babies, or any other child related parties or gatherings that requires my attendance because:

(i) I will not go,

(ii) I will not go, and

(iii) I will not go.

10. But, if a friend of mine invites us to his house on a Sunday to watch a game, we will be there in a flash.

11. The daily World Cup highlights show on TV every night is just as important as the games themselves. Do not even think about saying "but you have already seen this...why don't you change the channel to something we can all watch?" because, the reply will be,

"Refer to Rule #2 of this list".

12. And finally, please save your expressions such as "Thank God the World Cup is only every 4 years". I am immune to these words, because after this comes the Champions League, Italian League, Spanish League, Premier League, FA Cup, etc.

I behave with everyone no bad, even very care of them, ready to hear they upload their heart ( sad or happy ), contribute ideas when they need, but i can't understand why almost of everybody are not like me. I just got my ear pierced 6/26 of this year and it really itches..and all i want is the back piece off so help me cause all i want is the back piece off cause i know that there is like a scab back there but i want the back off so i can clean the back off with the cleaner thingy, so if u have any ideas of how to get the back off please help me cause i cant get them off. they were pierced with one of those piercing guns and i think the earring is stuck. and the place that pierced them wont help me take them out. so help if u have any ideas or thoughts cause it really badly itches......grrrrr,plus i have to take them out for a special event but again i cant get them out. so help!!! lol any ideas?????????

I would be if people were doing this in the name of my gods (although the idea of a group of angry, rampaging pagans is a little risible). Instead, all we hear is how Muslims and Islam are not to blame. Sorry? Who is then? Because it certainly isn't the Church of England! I'd be livid if this was being done in my name, but instead there is just a lot of shirking of resposibility. How do Muslims feel about this? I'd be dying of shame.

ps: I don't want anybody calling me racist for posting this, either, because that's just plain ridiculous.

Now I've not really caught onto this whole global warming, 'zero emmisions' fad that's currently on a few people's lips. But is it me or does everyone stop going on about it when it rains and as soon as the sun comes out and it's a lovley hot day everyone goes off on one about how we're ruining the earth...!?

I'm saying this as where I live, England, we're going through what could only be described as the wettest and most boring summer ever and no one's saying anything on the news and all the adverts have come off the tv!!
