Just find it interesting that after all the brouhaha (including on this venue) about Mr. Speaker and his horribly infectious TB now they're saying they were wrong. He still has TB just not that strain.

The govt should publicly apologize to him and his family and the rest of the nation! But I'm quite sure they won't...... fear is a great tactic for population control.

Thoughts?

my daddy does major real esate!!!we live in a 2 stories house,swimming pool,hot tub,me and my sis get watever we want and my parents own 4 houses for there kids when they get older,have a golf course at our house and etc....does that have to mean you are RICH and SPOILED cuz everyone at skool keep calling me that....i am only 11 i know i get brand clohes...i have 3 sis they ages are 18,12,6...and they think we are spoiled...we all do gymnastic!!the poiint is when u have all those thing does it have to mean you are spoiled and rich!!just wondering!!

I know that using the AC makes your gas mileage go down. But some days you just gotta have it, you know? I'm wondering if the rate at which it effects the gas mileage is the same regardless of how cold you run it or how high your fans are turned. Or does the effect go up depending on how cold your thermostat is set. Anybody know?

I am a teacher. If the students have promblens, they have to raise their hands and wait for my hlep. However, Some of the students aren't patient. They would keep calling my name until I help them out. In order to make them quiet , I would say "If you call my name again, I will put you to the last one. "(I will help the student who keeps calling my name as the last one )
I wonder how will you say it as an native English speaker .
If possible , please provide some examples.

i have a Items Ordered

My friend gave me a dying bamboo plant that's in rocks. No dirt. It needs mineral water to live, but I don't have any right now. I can't drive, so I can't go get any. Is there any mixture of household things or something that I can sustain it with until I get mineral water?

I mean, he looked tortured. Kind of like someone who is being forced to do something against his conscience. Someone who is being blackmailed. In my opinion, he seemed to realize how bad that it made him look to most Americans and that it would put the icing on the cake for his legacy, but could find no way out.
I could see Cheney telling him, "Look, he knows too much. If he goes to jail, he'll start talking. Probably be given immunity in exchange for his testimony againt us. Commute his jail time and hold the prospect of a complete pardon over his head until we are out of here."
To me it's obvious a deal was made during the trial for Libby to take the fall, with the understanding that he never sees a day of jail time. At one point, Libby's attorneys were all "gung ho" to force Cheney to testify, then suddenly they had a change of heart and allowed their client to be convicted without Cheney taking the stand.
My friends, the fix was in.

OK so I have to knuckle down and save some money because my son thinks he wants to be an Architect... And I have pulled out all the lawn and I have planted seasonal fruit trees, nut trees and assorted berries and a few cabbages, some spinach and onions, some herbs, five grape vines and some passionfruit vines and a mango tree... and I have a water harvesting system and I have installed solar panels that collect solar energy and I sell it back to the local power authority and buy power from them as I need it. I have also heavily insulated all my walls and roof, double glazed my windows, bricked up windows that interfere with my energy efficiency, I've installed draft stoppers and sealed windows and doors and made air locks. I have installed a solar heated swimming pool on my roof for additional thermal insulation.

I was just thinking that some hens and some ducks would be useful around the garden. Can you keep them in the city? What do you think? Can you kill em and eat em?
