Well, I found this one after doing a Google search for "install an above ground pool" - looks pretty informative.

Level the dirt to within 1/4 inch. Allow yourself a 1 foot margin on all sides of the pool.
Start assembly pursuant to manufacturers instructions.
Seriously, I purchased a pool this season and was glad to pay somebody else after watching his crew work for about 13 hours (4 men) setting up and leveling the surface.
