A LOT of bands have had their big break on Myspace. Because they've put their music on there and people have liked it so they have bought their CD's and stuff.
I think bands are the main ones that have got famous through Myspace.
I know this band that went to a neighbouring school made a Myspace and since then they have exploded!
Also, some organisations have really expanded since Myspace. This one organisation in Australia, Reach Out! created a Myspace and they said that the popularity of the website itself has increased by 20%! So that's really cool!!! =)

Lil' Chris WAS NOT discovered on Myspace. He went on a Channel 4 tv show called 'Rock School'. The TV show saw Gene Simmons (from the band KISS) try to form a rock band out of a class of school children attending Kirkley High School (Chris's school). Unfortuantly, Lily Allen was.

You consider "fame" as a concept of being the most well-known on some internet site designed for people with no life and little future expectations?
I'm not sure about anyone else, but in my own opinion, being popular on any website is more being sad than something to boast about.
