in a remote part of the Irish countryside. The attendant at the pumps greets him in a typically Irish manner completely unaware of who the golfing pro is.

"Top o the mornin' to yer, Sir" says the attendant. Tiger nods a quick "hello" and bends forward to pick up the nozzle. as he does so, two tees fall out of his shirt pocket onto the ground.

"What are dey den, Son?" asks the attendant. "They're called tees" replied Tiger. "Well, what on de good earth are dey for?" inquires the Irishman. "They're for resting my balls on when I'm driving", says Tiger. "Feckin Jaysus", says the Irishman, "Dem boys at Volvo tink of everything!"

about your teenage years?

If you are still a teen, what do you want to remember about your teenagehood when you become an adult?

I'd remember the fun times in school and my Student Council and the tight group of friends I had. (:

If all cars were made with a max speed of 80mph this would stop speeding and possibly prevent accidents/loss of life. I mean what's the point in a car being able to travel 160mph?

"Four Italian management consultants have come up with a novel way to get ahead in business - read fewer textbooks and watch more films. ...all good films teach lessons about behaviour. ...High-quality films, though, can offer lessons about problem-solving and teamwork as well as focusing on issues such as globalisation and diversity" UNQUOTE above article.

What movies would you recommend to your MilitaryBoss to watch and learn from?

Do you believe in the CONCEPT of certain movies as being viable for the job you do there today.. if not the end result?.. if so, which film CONCEPT works for you in your mind, yet won't be tried and tested in real life?

Like most people who have tried dieting for years but have gotten nowhere I have decided to go on the "cabbage soup diet" (google it) but upon googling it there is a mountain of critisisms saying that you just put the weight back on because your metabolism gets quite negatively affected but I was considering going on this 7 day diet plan to lose a few quick pounds which will get me motivated for sure but then after that diversify my meals to more protein and vitamins but continue with the fruit and vegetable core of most diets with 45 mins of aerobic exercise for 4 times a week with 2 days weight training. I figure that this will prevent me putting the weight on again and gradually increase my metabolism back to its original levels.

Does anyone have any idea if this will work or there is nothing that can be done to prevent putting the weight back on due to the lack of calories for 7 days?
Thanks

The pump to my pool stopped working so I went to the fuse box. None of the switches were misaligned so I threw all the switches. One of them won't reset. The number on the switch is 20. I am assuming that it is the one for the pool since everything else in the house is working. In all the houses I ever lived in all you had to do was switch the switch. How can I fix this?

and the last instruction of the Mother Superior is that they must not get even a drop of paint on their habits.

After conferring about this for a while, the two nuns decide to lock the door of the room, strip off their habits, and paint in the nude. In the middle of the project, there comes a knock at the door. "Who is it?", calls one of the nuns. "Blind man," replies a voice from the other side of the door.

The two nuns look at each other and shrug, and, deciding that no harm can come from letting a blind man into the room, they open the door.

"Nice ****," says the man, "where do you want these blinds?"

I mean, the complete package that made an impression on many of us growing up in Old New York.

The dynasties of the 40's and 50's. Mel Allen saying..."How about that" of Mickey's tape measure homers.

The legends, the myths, the ambience...made for glorious days in what (former) mayor John Lindsay called "fun City".

You won't find me going to any live ballgames again, rather, look for all those wonderful collectibles on ebay.
