I've seen Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth. For the most part I find his argument very convincing. It's very hard to argue with those graphs showing the correlation of CO2 levels vs Temp levels over the course of time. Gore seems to suggest that the effects of global warming would effect the world almost in an instant - giving us little time to react to the changes... Im curious as to whether or not this is correct? Why wouldn't the sea level changes have a more slow onset - in which we could notice the problem and adjust accordingly?

A couple of hours ago, a loud, high-pitched noise (sounds almost like the ringing of a tuning fork) started up and has been constant since then. I tracked it to what seemed to be the two air vents in the master bedroom, but when I shut the power off completely (circuit breaker), the noise stopped all together. When I walked outside, the noise seems to be coming from underneath the house, which is a crawlspace foundation. Any ideas as to what this could be? Thanks in advance.

Are any of you federal investigators? No. Have any of you conducted a thorough investigation into the incident? No. Do any of you know Benoit or family personally? No. All you guys do is speculate, and feed off the crap the media gives you. The only reason why you are defending Benoit is because he was a nice guy and you can't imagine him murdering his family.

But if the federal authorities say they solved the case, that Benoit killed his family then hung himself, I (and everyone else) should really believe them. None of you have proof or the grounds to try to dispute this.

Look at what speculation did to the guy who updated the Wikipedia site 14 hours before the bodies were found. How about we don't speculate that Benoit wasn't a murderer until we all have some FACTS to back it up?

When I press the power button on my desktop nothing happens. Checked power cord and power switch on back of PS.

Thinking that if it is a mobo problem that the fans would at least power up; currently nothing happens when button pressed, no fans, drives don't spin up. Nothing.

Anyone know any "easy" ways to check?

Power supply is 500 Watt ThermalTake, Mobo is an MSI K8N Neo; system has been running fine for over two years.

I indend to take her to the vet tomorrow; but I want some info for my own benefit. HELP!

I drink like once a month. Yet on Friday I drank to excess, like 12 beers, and I was not angry or anything when I was drunk, but yesterday I was in a fine mood. Now two days later I am in a seemingly intractable terribly angry mood. Does anyone else have any experience with this? Seriously I know it will pass but today I am very very angry and there is no reason to be. I went and ate a load of McDonald's I am even being angry toward my body. I am smoking cigarettes in row and just had a fight with my brother.

My family and I are looking into fostering, but we aren't sure what breeds to do. I think we have it narrowed down between a beagle and an Aussie (though, other suggestions would be great.) Heres some information on our living style:

There are two kids in the house; 12 and 14. We also have a dog, a 9 year old Cockapoo who gets along with any breed. =]
Momma goes to a summer college class (10 am - 3 pm) while daddy works from 4 am - noon. The teenage daughter (14) occassionally babysits but is only gone for 3 hours at a time. 12 year old son is usually home; so the dog wouldn't ever really be all alone. We've got a 3600 square foot house and a 1/8 acre backyard with a swimming pool and grass. There is also a 7 foot brick fence surrounding it. Because we live in Arizona, the heat is something to consider... especially since its summer. A dog that doesn't mind water would also help.

So; all this info. Which breed is for us?

Best Answer will be chosen on thoroughness. =] Thanks!

I've had this sore on the inside of my lower lip. I thought it was a canker sore at first, but it doesn't look like one and doesn't hurt at all. It's clear in color and looks like it's filled with a fluid... What could this be? I've been gargling with Crest ProHealth mouthwash the past couple days and it seems to be irratating it... I'm beginning to wonder if it's starting to leak whatever is inside it, because all day I've had this horribly bitter taste in my mouth. I've had it for over a week. It doesn't seem to be getting bigger. Should I see a doctor? It's just annoying.. I can feel it there...

As one moves through the Sign, one recites, at the forehead, “Lord “; at the stomach, “Jesus Christ”, on the right shoulder, “Son of God”; and on the left shoulder, “have mercy on us” followed by a bow(to the ground during great lent).

Joining two fingers together-the index and the middle finger-and extending them, with the middle finger slightly bent, represents the two natures of Christ: His Divinity and His Humanity. He is God according to His divinity and Man according to His hummanity, perfect in both natures. The index finger represents His divinity, while the middle finger repersents His hummanity, since He came down from on high and saved those below. The bending of the middle finger is interperted to mean that He bowed the heavens and came down upon the earth for our salvation.

And thus it proper to make the Sign of the Cross and to bless; thus was it laid down and ordained by the holy fathers; such is the power of the Sign of the Cross, with which we faithful sign ourselves when we pray, confessing sacramentally the Saviour’s economy: His being begotten of God the Father before all creation; His decent to earth from on high; His Crucifixion; and His second coming, which is the sealing of His entire philanthropic dipensation concerning us.

The sign of the cross must be made according to the rules, in the form of a cross; and the right hand, that is, the dextral hand, must be used in crossing oneself, with the thumb and the two lower fingers joined together, and the extended index finger joined to the middle finger, slightly bent; thus should prelates [and] priests give their blessing and thus should men cross themselves. . . . It befits all Orthodox Christians to hold their hand thus, and to make the sign of the cross upon their face with two fingers, and to bow, as we said before. If anyone should fail to give his blessing with two fingers, as Christ did, or should fail to make the sign of the cross with two fingers, may he be accursed.. . ., Chapter 31 of The Council Of The Hundred Chapters.

Is there any idea beside sales, lawn mower, MLM, or anything that doesn't pay check but will pay the same day you work?

I know I can't make $100 an hour but $100 a day shouldn't be that bad either.
