I love my mom dearly. She's a great person. My little brother takes advantage of her kindness and runs over her. I used to give my mom money, in an effort to show her my love and also so she could buy herself something nice. Unfortunatly, my little brother would end up with something nice. He plays her and ends up taking my money away from her. So I stopped giving her money. I don't know what to buy her, cause she seems to have everything. I have been sending her emails, reminding her of how she has been such a positive influence on my life and to let her know that she's the best. My question is.....are the emails enough? Should I also try to buy her a gift? I don't want my brother to benefit. I love my brother dearly, as well. But my hard earned money is not meant to go to him.

With a denomination that does not allow women to serve as priests to a denomination that allows gays to be bishops, can we at least dispense with the fantasy that there is a "clear teaching" in the bible?

The "clear teaching" in the bible has been used to justify:

- burning and drowning old women as witches
- the use of torture to extract confessions from heretics
- the massacre of all Muslim men, women and children in Jerusalem
- slavery
- misogyny
- anti-semitism
- racism
- the divine right of kings
- holy wars against schismatics
- the burning of books

the list is just about endless.

How can anyone claim there is "clear teaching" in the bible without ignoring Christianity's bloody history over what that "clear teaching" is, not to mention the extraordinary diversity of beliefs that various people have claimed to be Christian?

Isn't it true that most Christians arrogantly claim whatever version of Christianity they believe to be true is true for all?

I have a clean license, never gotten a ticket in my life (but I do speed all the time).

If I get pulled over and he runs my license, will my clean record have any impact on whether I get a speeding ticket (instead of a warning)?

Is there anything I can say or do to avoid getting a ticket, after I get pulled over?

I have extremely small breasts, but I have a beautiful booty, I worry that my breast size may be a turnoff to my boyfriend. At present, I do not like or support him, but I am curious as to why I should. Even with the discord over the war, etc, he garnered enough votes to be elected. I want to know what, exactly, do you Americans that voted for him see in him. Are they admirable qualities; if so, what are they? Do you feel he has great leadership qualities? Did religion or moral issues sway your vote? If you voted for him, but are now unhappy with his direction, why?

I will say, I did not vote for him, either time. I want to know why you did.

Complaining that when he breaks wind, the sound his backside makes sounds like "Honda"

The doctor cant fathom the problem so refers him to a specialist at the hospital.
The specialist at the hospital has no clue as to the problem but tells him to go see a little chinese man who works wonders.

So offf to see the little chinese man

"What is major pwoblem" says the chineseman
"Well when I break wind, the sound comes out like Honda"
"Please remove honourable trousers and let this humble person see pwoblem" says the chinaman

Having removed his trousers the chinaman inspects the aforementioned area.

"Ah so, I now see pwoblem" says chinaman.

"Bloody hell, that was quick, whats the matter with me?" says the patient.

"You have absses on backside, probably caused by loneliness" says chinaman.
"How can you tell that when all the doctots and specialists couldn't detect it?" says the patient

My pit bull attacked my land lords dog last night. He actually tore down the fence to get to him and my husband had to choke him to get him to let go of the other dog. He never shows aggression towards humans, only to other dogs and we have another dog which is a Chihuahua and I'm scared he might do this to him. We are exploring the possibility of giving him up. Do you think we should put him to sleep or adopt him to someone else? I would hate to adopt him out and he does something bad because then that person will have to pay. But his behavior is becoming a liability for me, I would hate for him to kill another animal or a person. What do you think?
