And are these two (support/like) mutually exclusive?

Only serious answers, please.

If you did not vote for him and hate his guts, please do not answer here.

At present, I do not like or support him, but I am curious as to why I should. Even with the discord over the war, etc, he garnered enough votes to be elected. I want to know what, exactly, do you Americans that voted for him see in him. Are they admirable qualities; if so, what are they? Do you feel he has great leadership qualities? Did religion or moral issues sway your vote? If you voted for him, but are now unhappy with his direction, why?

I will say, I did not vote for him, either time. I want to know why you did.

You don't want people who didn't vote for him not to answer this question, but then you say at the end that you didn't vote for him.

Are you a politician?

And by the by, he didn't "garner" enough votes - he stole and bought his way into office with the help of his brother the first time and with the help of British Petroleum the second time.

Honestly if you don't support or like him then you don't have to, other people should not have to convince you to like him. You should follow your own judgment look at his policies and what he has done in the almost 8 yrs as president an then decide if you still support him.

The best reason that you should support Bush is because he's the president. You don't have to like him - - - do you like the country ? All Americans should work together and support the government for the good of the country. If you don't like the president, work hard to support him while he's in office, then vote him out.
The reason that I voted for him is because I would have voted for anybody who was opposed to Kerry.

Here is a descent hard working god fearing Christian that deserves your respect. This man served his country flying jets in the National Guard until his HONORABLE discharge. He earned a Harvard MBA!

Just an all around great guy who has brought Honor and Dignity back to the White House after those awful Clinton years.

You have to admit LIBS. It's kind of nice having a President who does not spend all his time in front of special prosecutors, Grand Juries and Impeachment Hearings! My kids were embarrassed that the President disgraced the office like that. Now, they look at Bush with pride!

He earned a Harvard MBA! He went to Yale for undergrad.

I don't care if you do or don't like him. He will still be in office with or without your approval.
