My husband and I have had the idea to create a dining table by using a large barrel with a glass table top. How would you attach the glass to the barrel?

4 year old boy eat healthy foods.I got him to try the smallest piece of lettuce.But he spit it make out.All he like is sausage,bacon,cereal,apples,bananas,and hamburgers.

There are some things going on around my office that I feel should be shared with my boss. But how do I go about bringing them up without sounding like a kiddish tattle tale. My puppy is 4 months old and shes been throwing up alot. She hasn't eaten or drank for 2 days. Shes also been really tired. Today shes playing with me again and really active. Shes also been drinking on her own, although I'm still forcing down pedilyte. She hasn't had diaherria at all. Could it be parvo, or should I not be to worried since she appears better?

Okay so my friend burnt the side of my cheek with her crimper on monday night! The next day when i went to go shower i noticed it and when i went to touch it there was like a thin layer of brownish green gooey stuff. Well it stuck to my finger and pulled of as soon as i touched it and the burn started bleeding! It scabs up but falls off all the time on its own and starts bleeding again. The green goo only happened once more like twenty minutes after the first time but i wanted to know if this is normal??

I've never let any one see my boobs cuz i'm nervous about their appearance. I am a 32G in size, they droop about 4 inches above my navel, and the areola (my biggest concern) is unevenly colored and pretty big (3 " in diameter) is it normal and attractive looking or should i get help.

I have an older Dell computer with basic components and only 256 megs RAM (I think). It takes it almost an hour to boot up. What I would like to do is buy a new computer for myself and give this one to the kids. What should I do to this older computer to get it running better and suitable for the kids? And also I would like to get a top of the line computer for myself, with a good amount of RAM and storage, a nice video card and sound card etc...what type of Specs should I look for? I will be using the computer for photos, music downloads, internet, and word processing.

peoples attitude towards you in general was, condescending, smug, smarmy, unctuous, patronizing, mocking, abrupt, unhelpfull....people outcasted you, seemed to socially exclude you.....then if finally you exploded in rage, everyone says'' yeah see look, loony mad person'' then they could socially ostracize you more....
how would you handle this?
i feel strongly that i experience this alot from people in the present and especially alot in the past....ive had borderline personality since 15, im 30 now. so ive been hurt and endured alot of psychologicall and mental pain at the hands of other people...& even though i have a disorder im trying to deal with, i still recognise the way im treated, and recognise disdain in all its forms. i have good intellect,& i no how im being treated by people...
its almost like, if i did lose it & explode in rage, youd see alot of somebodies, dancing,laughing, and enjoying my pain, wearing huge grins...but i continue to hang in there in spite of all this

My doctor told me she wont perscribe Valtrex for me unless I am having an outbreak. I havent had one in a while but i read somewhere that if you wait too long to take Valtrex it won't help you? Is this true?

the word "immigrant" has received a silent "illegal" before it on this site?

let me explain

if i posted a question asking, "do you love immigrants?"

i would probably receive many responses similar to "no, they broke the law, they need to go home."

but notice i never once used the word "illegal"

so back to my question, why has it come to the point where almost everyone on "yahoo answers" thinks the word "immigrant" now means "illegal immigrant?"

in case people have not noticed, this is the "immigration" forum which means questions are open for both illegal and legal immigration topics

but for a long time, i've seen so many jump to the conclusion that "immigrant" means "illegal immigrant" and the question was therefore completely taken out of context

please, give me your thoughts

I have a betta that I bought a week ago from a pet store. I bought some neon tetras at the same time. I put them in the tank so they could get used to it and be comfortable and kept the betta in the little jar he came in, floating in the ten gallon. I dumped most of the water in his jar out and refilled it with tank water once a day. After 5 or 6 days I netted the betta and put him in.
He seemed happy and healthy enough, exploring his new home, swimming through the plants and under the slate rock cave and eating whatever I put in the tank (except the freeze dried bloodworms). I fed him tubifex worms and regular tropical fish flakes.
Now, around 2 days after I put him in the tank, something bad has happened to him: I checked the tank this evening to see how the fish were doing and the betta was on the bottom, with his body almost vertical- just sitting there with his head up high. I looked closer and saw a piece of his fin had come off. His fins were disintegrating (see more details)

Saline Injection Abortion:

Dilation & Evacuation abortions have largely replaced the saline variety). Their extreme risk to the mother has removed them from common practice today. A concentrated salt solution is injected into the amniotic fluid resulting in acute hypernatremia or acute salt poisoning. The baby breathes in and swallows the solution and is usually dead within a couple hours. Dehydration, hemorrhaging of the brain, organ failure, and burned skin also contribute to the fetus' demise. The mother generally goes into labor the next day and delivers a dead baby.


Dilation and Extraction (D and X) / Partial Birth Abortion:

Dilation and Extraction (often called partial birth abortion) is used during the 2nd or 3rd trimester and is usually performed on a viable baby. The Ultrasound-guided procedure is essentially the breach delivery of a live baby. Forceps, inserted through the cervical canal, are used to position the fetus so that it can be delivered feet first and face down. The child’s body is then pulled through the birth canal, but the head (too large to pass through the cervix) is left inside. With arms and legs exposed (and likely flailing), the abortion provider then inserts blunt surgical scissors into the base of the fetal skull and spreads the tips apart. A suction catheter is inserted into the skull and the brain is sucked out. The skull collapses until the baby’s head can pass through the cervix.

how much water should a pregnant women drink? i feel i can only manage on 4glasses of water a day is that bad cause when i drink more ifeel i duno i guess drowned by any more than that i thin the max i can drink is 5glasses n no more.

I know all you sox fans will kill me for saying this, but what the heck is wrong with your TV anouncer? I mean really! He calls the Sox "Good Guys" and the other team "Bad Guys." Hello? And did you see the play on Sunday vs. the Cubs??? Uribe plainly got in the way on Angel Pagan and then he started dissing the head umpire? Are you a 2-year-old, Hawk? He still hasn't apoligized.
